Sadiq sighed; the day had dragged on as he finally returned home.
It was odd to balance America's excitement over Halloween and what today actually meant to the Turk.
Truthfully, birthdays had lost their meaning as the years went by as he'd gotten used to the often times lonely days, and believe it or not, it was hard to manage birthdays with being as old as he is today.
His country was alight with joy and that made him smile; at least there was that to welcome the day with festivities.
His smile only grew as he walked into his house though he figured he could change and join in the festivities as they were rather fun after all.
Sadiq's eyes widened to find Abel in his home with a few others that had mostly skipped the World Meeting just moments before probably to be here when he arrived.
The Turk walked in beyond surprised to find them here; Abel smiled as he stepped forward to lead his boyfriend further into the house where Luxembourg and Belgium also waited.
It was odd to find others willing to celebrate with him and to find the smell of traditional, Turkish food and a birthday cake to surround his house today.
Abel continued to smile lightly which was not a sight that many got to see as he brought the Turk even further in the room that contained a bunch of gifts on a table in the back that piqued Sadiq's interest.
Finally though the time would come for them to eat dinner, and yet again, the Turk wondered how they'd all managed this.
He'd been beyond surprised at the meeting when Abel wasn't there as he always attended the meetings regardless of how badly the meetings usually went.
Sadiq was still surprised at how authentic the meal was as if he'd cooked it himself, and it tasted amazing.
The large amount of food prepared may seem odd for a party of four, but all of it, every last dish, tasted amazing.
It also blew his mind that the Dutch man had not brought any alcoholic beverages to drink nor had he brought anything to smoke as Abel could be quite a drinker and quite a smoker, but the Dutch's preparation for this party blew him away.
Sadiq wondered how he'd been deserving enough to have such a sweet boyfriend who could work this hard at throwing a party for him and not forgetting one thing.
The Turk smiled again as they enjoyed the delicious cake that had Sadiq wondering again how they'd found time to do all of this.
The gifts that were on the table proved to be amazing, and Sadiq was beyond happy that today for once, he'd really had a birthday party.
Sadiq stepped closer to his boyfriend and finally kissed him for all he was worth; Abel had proved to be a considerate and loving boyfriend, and Sadiq was beyond elated to have him here and to have such an incredible boyfriend at that.
He kissed him deeper, desiring to just be there with Abel, and to be as close as he could be with him.
