Hey! Have a short ficlet on an ordinary typical day in the palace! Purely for fun.
Disclaimer: I OWN YGO! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! -shot in the neck with tranquilizer-
Kiya: Gomen'nasai mina! She does NOT repeat NOT own Yu-gi-oh. She owns only me and the plot. Please so not be upset with her.
Atemu: You, polite? Did the appocolips come?
Kiya: -bristles with anger- Just because I don't flaunt it, doesn't mean I can't be!
Kiya looks at the vase, then at Mana. Oh they were in for it!
They had just been practicing using magic; well Mana did while Kiya assisted; when she slipped forward attempting a dramatic pose and the ball of magic at the tip of her staff shot of wildly, hitting the vase and shattering it, crippling the table it sat on in the process.
"Well, good luck Kiya!" Mana exclaims, and dashes of quick as lightning. Kiya's eyes widen.
"Damnit Mana! Don't lay the blame on me!" She yells after the girl and goes to run after her.
"Halt! Princess Kiya, stay where you are!" She freezes and turns to face her captor, Mahad. She had hoped to escape without being caught by him but it looks like it was in vain. "The Pharaoh is on his way here, you would do best to stay where you are and explain this to him." he says sternly, knowing that Mana had a part in this and resolved to discipline her when he got the chance.
"Kiya Sennan! What in Ra's name did you do this time!" Pharaoh Atemu yells, very cross. Flinching slightly at his tone, she looks up at him sheepishly.
"Aha...brother...I didn't do it! Mana did!" She immediately yells, taking a step back and trying oh so very hard to make puppy-dog eyes to appear innocent to him, which utterly failed since her red-green eyes are anything but innocent looking.
"Yes, and that is why that vase is broken and you were caught trying to run away from it." He states, sighing. "Kiya, when are you going to stop acting like a child? You're a princess, and next for the throne should I die and have no heir. You need to grow up and act like a princess." He says, frowning. She pouts.
"Like you're one to talk Atemu." Kiya huffs, pouting. "You aren't exactly a model Prince- ah Pharaoh." Atemu sighs in irritation.
"Kiya.." He warns. she huffs again.
"I know I know. 'Go to my room. No playing around. Don't train with Mana.' I got it. " she sighs dejectedly and trudges off to her room, muttering angrily about how she's always the one taking the blame. Atemu sighs.
"Sometimes I wish father were here. Being Pharaoh can be exhausting." He looks up at Mahad. "Go discipline your student, Priest Mahad." Said priest bows.
"Yes my Pharaoh." He states and goes off.
