blah blah blah, J.K Rowling owns pretty much everything in this story, blah blah blah.

Lauryn turned a page in her book, and shifted her body, so that the blood could still flow to her crossed legs. The voices outside her compartment window were getting louder and more restless, so she assumed that the train would soon be leaving. Right on cue, the Hogwarts Express totted a final whistle, signalling that everyone had a matter of minutes, before they were left behind. Everyone scurried to a door, dragging luggage and pets behind them. This was one of the reasons she liked to be the first one in a compartment. You got to watch everyone push and shove each other, from a safe distance. She turned another page, and folded over a corner of the page, leaving dog-like ears. Her parents always scolded her when she did this at home, which, naturally, only made her do it more. The train doors closed just as the last stragglers boarded, and if any muggle had witnessed all of the doors closing at the same time, they would have assumed it was "mechanic", but Lauryn knew better. This was the wizarding world, after all.

Just as the train chugged out of London, 4 boys entered her compartment, not glancing Lauryn's way. It took them a few moments to realise that they were not alone in their compartment. One of them, a slightly shaggy looking boy, with light brown hair and almost golden eyes, introduced himself. "My name is Remus Lupin, and these are my so-called friends" He joked. "James Potter," He pointed to a companion of his with messy, jet black hair, hazel eyes, and a grin that could only be mischievous. "Delightful to meet you," the boy named James remarked, posh-like. Lauryn raised a suspicious but amused eyebrow as Remus continued his introductions. "He," He continued, pointing to a rather well-built guy with long, shaggy black hair, interesting grey eyes, and a glint in his eye which could only mean trouble. "Simply smashing!" He mimicked his friends, James's voice perfectly, and stuck out a hand. Lauryn ignored it, and turned back to Remus. He motioned to the last person in the compartment, who was a scrawny, boy with pale skin, watery blue eyes and mousy brown hair. He looked the weakest of the bunch, but now that she studied them carefully, she realised that they were all quite handsome, in their own ways. "Sorry to intrude," Remus said sheepishly, sitting down gingerly. He did look genuinely sorry, but the others.. not so much. They had all already made themselves at home, chatting profusely. Lauryn rolled her eyes. Typical boys, She thought, as she went back to her book.

A note from the author,
I couldn't really find a name to fit the story. Any suggestions would be welcome! Also, I really would like to know what you thought of it!
