It was afterschool in the Brigade room. And it was also on Valentines Day. (Man I hate Valentines Day!) No one didn't even give me presents at all. Yuki. Mikuru and Itsuki wasn't in the clubroom. Only one was sitting there looking like she was terribly bored and would kill someone to get entertained. Except when I came in. She was also wearing a ponytail. I was awkwardly disturbed by that ponytail.
I went inside the room and looked at Haruhi. She didn't seem like she saw me or heard me.
Kyon: "Haruhi!"
Haruhi: "What do you want Kyon?"
She looked back at me and didn't have an angry expression or anything. It was....normal.
Kyon: "Nothing...Did you get any chocolates?"
Haruhi: "No. You?"
Kyon: "Me neither."
The brigade chief went down from the main desk and walked to me.
Haruhi: "Here."
She handed me a panda emblem that looked like it was sewn on a shirt before.
Kyon: "Where did you get this?"
Haruhi: "I found it on my old shirt I used in Middle School before. You could keep it. I don't want it. Well...I'm heading home. See you."
The door was shut. 'Middle School?' I thought for a moment. The shirt she was wearing! It had a panda emblem on it! She must've cut it out but...how could she know? I ran out the door and stopped Haruhi at the gate.
Kyon: "Do...you know John Smith?!"
She blinked for a second.
Haruhi: "I remember someone named like him!"
She knows! I'm in great danger here!
Haruhi: "But....I think he left this school."
*sigh* I smiled slightly.
Haruhi: "I just gave you that emblem because I didn't want it!"
Kyon: "Then....what's the ponytail for? Isn't it pretty cold for you to wear that?"
Haruhi looked down to cover her face for a moment. Then I wondered.........'why'?
