It was a relatively normal day in the MCRT Bullpen. Gibbs was on a coffee run, and the rest of the team were working on their assignments, putting up BOLOs and running background checks and research on their missing Petty Officer.
Everyone, apparently, except for Ziva.
Ziva David stared expressionlessly at her computer screen. A familiar blue-and-white logo was smack in front of her, but she had no idea of either what it meant, or how to use it.
"McGee! You know a a lot about computers and such, yes?" The Elf Lord looked over, confused, and nodded. "DO you know anything about Network-Socializing?"
Tony snorted into his coffee; "It's 'social-networking', Ziva, not 'network-socializing'." The Mossad officer waved him off.
McGee looked very uncertain, as if Ziva on Twitter would explode the existence of the universe into dust. "Uh, yeah, Ziva. Why?" He began to fiddle with his fraying jacket sleeve; Tony noticed, and grinned. Probie was reverting to Probiesh ways.
"Well," Ziva began, and flipped the head of the monitor around, "I want to join The Facebook." There was a flash of blue, and it revealed the log-in screen for the much-addicting, popular site. "Do you guys have one?"
She plugged her information into the appropriate boxes, and watched as a page pulled up. "Newsfeed? What is a newsfeed?" Smirking from behind his own computer, Tony clicked a single key on his mouse, and instantaneously, a picture appeared onto Ziva's computer screen; she shrieked.
"Tony!" Her face was a mix of revulsion and horror. Across her screen there was a request from Tony to be her friend, complete with a selfie-picture of him and someone he must have hooked up with in a bar somewhere' he looked absolutely hammered. "That is the-"
"-What is, Officer David?" Gibbs strode into the MCRT Bullpen, steaming cup of coffee in hand, and a quirked eyebrow; quickly, Ziva snapped her monitor back around, but not quickly enough so that Gibbs didn't see the bright flash of blue and white.
Oh yeah, and the name.
"What in the name of hell is a Facebook?"
This was going to be a long day.
