This is the first story I have published on here. I hope you guys like it.
Hermione walked into her flat and was surprised to find the lights dimmed. She dropped her coat and bag and walked into the living room. She saw candles on every surfaces and lilies everywhere. She saw a remote and a note attached to it.
"Turn me on" it said.
Hermione hit the on button in no certain direction. Music started playing from somewhere behind her.
From the shadows stepped her boyfriend stepped from the shadows and wrapped his arms around her.
"I have been waiting all day for you, Love." he whispered in her ear, "Dance with me?"
"All night. I love you." she said laying her head on her boyfriend's shoulder.
He pulled her closer to him and began to sway them back and forth moving in small steps around the room.
He put a hand in her hair and ran his fingers in circles on the back of her neck.
"Listen to the words, my Mia?" he asked.
"Can't say them yourself?"
"Just listen." he said sending her into a twirl.
A song she hadn't heard started playing.
"I love you Hermione Jean Granger." he whispered as he kissed her neck.
The song continued in the background.
"I love you too. What is going on?" Hermione asked.
"Keep listening.
As the song continues, it talks about laying down and touching heaven.
"Are you sure? This is a huge step for both of us. I thought you wanted to wait until we were married." Hermione asked.
Suddenly his hand were off of her and he pulled away.
"Finite." He muttered.
Hermione gasped.
"Does this answer your question?"
On the wall behind him was a collection of pictures of them. They asked: Will you marry me?
"Blaise! Yes! I will marry you!" Hermione yelled as she ran into his arms and kissed Blaise picked her up and carried her to their room.
"You saved my life that day. I will be grateful forever that you came into my life." He said pulling her to him.
"I think we saved each other." she muttered as she snuggled in to Blaise's body, "Now we sleep."
A year later, she slowly marched down the lily lined aisle to her groom. When she reached him she turned to the man who walked her down the aisle.
"Thank you, Daddy. I love you." she said.
"You have always been my little girl. No matter what." Remus said to her. He was sad he had to give up his little girl after finally getting her back.
Hermione stepped up to stand next to Blaise. Remus stepped back to his seat next to the Weasleys.
Kingsley made the ceremony short and a few minutes later he was turning Blaise and Hermione to their families declaring them bound for life.
During the reception, Remus stood up to say something.
"We all know Hermione loves to put some Muggle things in the way us Wizards and Witches do things. This time it was Blaise's idea. Now I have no idea what a Florida Georgia Line is but Blaise was insistent that he dances to this song first with Hermione. I wish you both many years of love and happiness."
Blaise escorted Hermione to the dance floor and started to dance with her as the opening bars of the song he played when he proposed played. Hermione smiled and laid her head on Blaise's chest.
"I love you." she whispered.
"Not as much as I love you." he said as he dipped her down and stole a kiss.
