This fic was a request from Redfox545.
This will be way out of my element of writing and probably not what you thought about; I know it's not very long but I hope it's okay.

straining and grunting.

There's not really any warning.

Fighting for the nut.

He knew it was useless. The nut was on a one ice flake and he was on another, but he refused to give up on it, he knew that sooner or later he was going to get it. His hands (/claws?), dug into the ice as he strained to get his hands on the nut.

He continued to grunt as he slowly dragged himself closer to the nut. Just as he was about to set his hands on it, a lout crack sounded from the flake he was on. A long line was seen on the ice as cracks continued to form from the first one.

Getting desperate he tried one last time to haul himself over to the nut but his attempt was doomed to end badly, because as he was only holding onto the nut, the ice flake went under and yet again the squirrel didn't get the nut.

The end.
It's okay if you think it was terrible writing but I had to get it down fast while my PC is working, or before I toss it into a wall.
