Cinderkit squealed, wriggling in confusion. She didn't know where she was and her mother wasn't there. Keening for her mother the kitten cried for help.
"Yellowfang... are you sure about this? I don't want to hurt her." A strange voice spoke with a hesitant voice.
"She'll never know Cinderpelt, she won't know." A grumpy and raspy voice meowed.
Cinderkit felt something push her closer to the strange scents and whined wanting her mother. It's alright Cinderkit, A gentle meow made the kitten go quiet, listening to the gentle voice, Can you help someone?
"She'll never know Cinderpelt, she won't know." The raspy voice spoke again
I don't… I don't want to ruin her life…" The kind voice responded, sounding hopeful but hesitant about something.
Who? The kitten asked with simple words, Need... help? She wanted to help as much as she could but she didn't know how.
Spottedleaf purred at the sight of the kit's gentle heart, Someone wants to live again as the life you will live, do you want to help?
"Ok… but what about Firestar?"
"He has sandstorm Cinderpelt. This kit won't feel those same feelings for him, but she is destined to love someone who's just as special.."
Live again?... Sure! The kit then squeaked indignantly feeling someone prodding her. She twisted and bumped her nose against a rough flat furry object of some sort.
"Ok, but only if she doesn't mind," The strange herb scent came closer.
"You don't mind do you little one?" The grumpy voice meowed and a cold nose pushed against Cinderkit's tiny flank. Cinderkit opened brilliant green eyes the colors of leaves and squeaked, pushing herself over to the herb-scented cat that was a smoky gray with an injured back leg. She then lifted her head so her nose was up towards the smoky cat with blue eyes, I help you
"I don't want to affect her Yellowfang…"
"She'll be perfectly fine Cinderpelt." The grumpy gray cat reassured the smoky tabby, pushing Cinderkit closer with her nose. "Take care my apprentice, and my you live the life you always wanted."
"Take care Yellowfang." CInderpelt took a deep breath and touched her nose to the small kits.
Cinderkit felt fire searing through her tiny body and she yelped, mewling pitifully. Spottedleaf padded over and nuzzled the small kit with her nose. It's ok little Cinderkit, may star clan light your path and may your paws be swift.
:) :) :) :) :)
Cinderkit opened her eyes hearing her mother speak, "You're safe my kits." Cinderkit briefly looked over at the smoky gray body at one part of the nursery and a small spark of remembrance sparked in the kits mind before she ignored it and burrowed back into her mother's fur and starting to suckle. Not remembering her visit with the grumpy, gray-furred, flat muzzled strange she-cat, the injured smoky tabby she-cat, and the pretty tortoiseshell she-cat.
