Alpus Major prayed at the foot of the great tree Yggdrasil when he saw it, a glowing spirit coming down from the heavens straight for the great tree Alpus Major watched with wide eyes, even in his old age, he realized a new celestrian being born when he saw one. He held out his hands and the small glowing orb landed softly in his hands, and as the glow faded, small boy, wrapped in a green blanket sleeping peacefully appeared. Alpus Major smiled warmly at the small figure in his hands "welcome to the celestrians" he whispered then added softly "your name, young hero, will be Grail."
An/:alright, I been pondering the idea o starting this awhile back, when I got my hands on a dq game, then awhile later, dragon quest nine makes its debut and I decided, what the hell? Why not so I decided that this would be based off the storyline of DQ IX, this is just the prologue, the first REAL chap will be posted as soon as I can write it, in the meantime, R&R y'all
