Hi guys, new oneshot from Sasha herself! It's based on Someone Like You by Adele. I do not own the awesomeness that is Adele, Naruto, or Glee.
The blonde stepped up onto the stage. He averted his eyes from the bright light, and searched the crowd for his friends. They were sitting in the centre of the room, cheering like the rest of the crowd.
I heard that you're settled down, That you found a guy, and you're married now. I heard that your dreams came true, Guess he gave you the things I didn't give to you.
"Naruto?" Sakura bit her lip.
"Yeah?" Naruto tilted his head to the side.
"Well, the thing is, I'm uhh... dating Sasuke."
"That's great. I'm really happy for you." He smiled one of his famous Naruto smiles, and made her feel worse because of it.
Old friend, why are you so shy? Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light.
"Congratulations! Hope you're happy!" Everyone was smiling, congratulating Sakura and Sasuke on their new marital status. Everyone was there, all drinking champagne and smiling.
I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited, But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it. I had hoped that you'd see my face and be reminded, that for me, it isn't over.
Naruto brought his jacket close as he walked back to his house.
"Wait up! Naruto!" the other blonde ran up to him.
"Yeah, Ino?" he turned back.
"I never knew that you had such a great voice! That Adele thing you did, it was like the thing that Glee did, y'know?"
"Thanks. I'm glad you liked it."
"Hey, did you really mean that?"
"Mean what?"
"That song."
"Yeah."
"It was Sakura, wasn't it?"
"Yeah."
"She broke your heart." The statement was so simple, yet so true.
Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you, too. Don't forget me, I begged, I remember you said, Sometimes it lasts in love, and sometimes it hurts instead.
"Naruto?"
"Yeah, Ino?"
"I- I love you."
"I love you too." He smiled at her, and her heart swelled. She stood up on her toes, and leaned in for the kiss.
Nothing compares, no worries or cares, Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made. Who would have known, how bitter sweet this would taste.
"Good night. Love you." Naruto shoved his hands deep in his orange pockets, and turned to walk away, back to his own house. He never thought he'd do this to Ino, it was always Sakura in his mind.

"Congrats, Naruto. Glad you found someone you deserve, even if it's Ino-pig." Sakura smiled softly at him.
"Thanks, Sakura-chan." He hugged her, smiling in her hair.
"I'm so happy for you." Sakura looked up at her best friend.
