Chinese Strings

Walking down the streets of London was strange, Even now. It held so many memories of him and Will. Turning he seen a cart of mallard pies and started laughing. Tessa, turning raised a delicate eyebrow at him, her lips thinning with amusement wondering what possibly caused his laughter.

"What's so funny"

Jem calming down a bit looked at the cart again. "Mallard pies"

Tessa turned and giggled softly, remembering Jem once telling her about Him and Will buying the pies to feed to the ducks at the park.

"I miss it so much here."

Jem smiled softly, "I do to Tessa."

Wrapping his arms around her, he nuzzled his nose against hers, then softly kissed her.

While Tessa was browsing the little shops on the corner of street, Jem smiled and went to Poet's corner. Stopping because he heard a familiar song. He recognized the instruments immediately, all were Chinese strings. Strolling over where he heard the song he closed his eyes. The song's name was in English "A Wordless Song." Given the name because the music itself told a beautiful story of a orphan boy who found love and in the end was reunited with his family in heaven.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

Jem's eyes flew up and he turned to Tessa startled. Wiping his eyes upon realizing he had began to cry.

"Yes" He smiled and turn to the players "the songs name is "A Wordless song."

Tessa looked at him "Is it Chinese?"

Jem smiled again and nodded taking Tessa's hand. Closing his eyes once more, he tried to imagine the boy's story in his head as they played. Instead, he found himself remembering everything from his childhood before his parents died and For a moment, it felt like he was home again.
