It was now October and Will and Emma were getting ready for halloween. Sophia was not even a month old, and it was her first halloween so Will and Emma wanted to dress her up for the day. Emma made her the cutest little Ladybug costume, it was red with black spots, wings and a headband with little antennas attached to it.

Will and Emma took Sophia to a pumpkin patch and picked out three pumpkins one big one for Will, a medium sized for Emma and a little one for Sophia. After they picked out the perfect pumpkins, they took them home and started carving them. Emma baked the pumpkin seeds for her and Will to eat and Will started to carve his and Emma carved hers. Sophia was too young to carve a pumpkin, so they carved the little pumpkin with a face, and set all the pumpkins in a row in the window and put candles inside each one of them.

"Will, they look great, you did a great job!" Emma said as she kissed his cheek.

"Thank you honey i just want Sophia's first halloween to be special, even if she won't remember it" Will chuckled

"Don't worry Will its the thought that counts and i know you wanted it to be special for her and one day she will look at the pictures and know that you care about her so much."

Will and Emma got Sophia all ready for trick-or-treating. Sophia was all dressed in her costume and the three of them headed out together to trick-or-treat. After a hour of trick-or-treating they arrived back to the house and Will started going through the candy.

"Will, I hope your not going to eat all the candy tonight"

"No im only gonna eat the ones i like then give the rest to the glee club tomorrow"

"I have a better idea, so you can only eat a couple pieces and tomorrow Sophia and i are taking them somewhere"

"Where?"

"If you want to you can come with us tomorrow"

Tomorrow came and Will was trying to figure out all night what Emma was going to do with all that candy. Will knew exactly what Emma was planning on doing as soon as they pulled up to the building.

"Ok Will this is what i want to do every year with our kids, after they go door to door for their candy they can only eat a few pieces of their candy and after that they have to come here to the hospital and hand out the candy to the kids in the cancer ward who can't go out and trick-or-treat."

"Emma that's absolutely perfect!"

"And we will also have some help with us today, who is here waiting for us inside"

The three of them walked in to find the glee club standing there, and he soon found out that they all went trick-or-treating to get more candy to hand out to the kids. Emma definitely had the best plan to teach our kids how to share and to know how lucky they are to be a happy and healthy child.
