Summary: *ATF/AU* I need to change the locks.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything "The Magnificent Seven" related, Characters of M7 do not belong to me, I like so many others before me am merely using the amazing universe of the ATF, no monetary compensation received, just the pleasure of creative writing as stress relief

Rating: K+

Author's Notes: This is pure drabble, more fluff, another something that popped into my head. It follows most of the ATF canon, but introduces new characters. I hope I have posted something others will enjoy reading.

Shower by Sapphire Lee

Sherry turned off the water, climbed out of the shower, and wrapped herself in a fluffy over sized cotton towel. She didn't bother with her robe, it was warm in the house, she figured she would go to her room, put her pajamas on, and crawl in bed. As she opened the bathroom door, the hairs on the back of her arms and neck stood up, she got the feeling that she wasn't alone. Sherry just shook her head at her over active imagination. She turned the corner to enter her bedroom and drew up short, there lounging on her bed, was Vin.

"Have you ever heard of breaking and entering?" she asked in a deadpan voice.

He just grinned at her. "Yeah, I heard of it. You could call the police" making himself comfortable on her bed. "I know a few guys down at the station" he offered helpfully.

"Don't tempt me. Whatcha doing here?"

"Nice outfit, do you always parade around in your birthday suit a-la-towel?" Vin said ignoring her question.

Sherry's cheeks got bright red. She hugged the towel closer to her body. "Well I wasn't exactly expecting anyone to be here." She said haughtily, as she marched to her dresser and grabbed her night clothes and stalked back to the bathroom. As she passed the bed, her arm swung out and thumped Vin on the back of the head.

"Hay, what's that for?" he grumbled to the closed bathroom door.

Sherry reemerged from her bathroom and climbed into the bed, on the left side, since Vin had absconded the prized right side. He sat there gloating over the fact, she knew it.

"I need to change the locks" she grumbled loudly enough that Vin heard her. Vin scoffed at her weak threat.

"It wouldn't matter, I know how to pick a lock, so it would just be a waste of yur money"

"How'd I get stuck with a brother like you?"

"Dunknow, must have won the lottery, I guess" came the teasing reply.

Yeah I know I did, but I don't want to stoke that ego any…it's a good thing he is my soulmate brother, or else I'd have to nip this thing in the bud. But there's no romantic interest, just loneliness, I can understand that.

Sherry rolled over and lightly kissed him goodnight on the cheek, then turned her back to him and snuggled down to go to sleep trying to get comfortable on the awful left side of the bed, ignoring his presence.

"Be a dear and turn off the light. Oh and my alarm goes off at 5:30am, just to warn you. You can sleep here or in the guest room. Night"

Grinning in victory at stealing the right side of the bed and Sherry's lack of resistance over it, Vin debated whether he should move into the guess room or stay put. He decided to stay with his prize, Vin yanked off his shirt, pulled off his boots, shucked his jeans, and crawled into bed in his boxers. It was a large bed and they both stayed on their respective sides.

As he was drifting off to sleep, he heard "Maybe I should start charging rent, if you are going to be here all the time…" Vin grinned, rolled over and went to sleep.
