Chakotay knew that Kathryn was in her quarters. These days she was always in her quarters. But he also thought that if he could get her to take a break, that maybe she would feel better.
He entered her quarters with the report for her.
"Anything else Commander?"
"Actually yes, I have been saving up my hollodeck time and I have about 3 hours. Would you care to join me for a game of velocity?"
"No thanks, commander."
"What if I told you that I am not leaving here until you agree?"
"I'd say have a seat, it will be a while. Tell me Chakotay how we got stranded here in the delta quadrant."
"You had to make a difficult decision Kathryn."
And then Chakotay left her quarters. We went a few steps through the corridor and then stopped and turned around. He went back to her quarters entered saw her standing by the window, and then he grabbed her. He began kissing her, she tried to pull away but he only strengthened his grip on her.
Before they knew it they were on the couch intertwined in one another. Just as she was about to speak, the whole ship went dark. They both fell off the couch and Chakotay hit his head on the table
"Are you all right Chakotay?" "I'm fine Kathryn this just reminds me of my younger years when the date's parents came home a little early." He exposed his dimples at her, and even thou it was dark Kathryn could see them.
"Put those away commander, you have obviously been holding out on me when it came to your stories, but we can talk about that later.
And they entered the hallway together.
