Lorelei Gilmore, Dies at age 87.

By: Lori Gilmore-Huntzburger

No one knows what she went through, no one wanted to know. She had gone through the impossible and survived, the fact that she went through it at all was some how impossible to comprehend. She had defied the odds and showed everyone that she could survive without her name and her money that was legally hers. Instead she lived in a potting shed for the rest of her teenage years and into her young adult life. She had a baby, no one knew the name of her baby but knew that if she did they would call her nothing more then a scandal and look at her with pity. Yet she still survived, without her daughter's father without anyone but herself.

That was Lorelei's story, she made a life and she was successful from nothing other then her hard work. That was how she was known until the day she died, the over enthusiastic, coffee addicted, movie fanatic, and junk food extraordinaire.

Her daughter, Rory, whom everyone in society first only referred to as a scandal made them all eat their words when she married THE Logan Huntzburger. She was currently working as one of HPG's editors at one of their high end papers.

Her grandchildren, Lori (short for Lorelei) and William (after Luke's, Lorelei's husband, father) are continuing in their grandmother's footsteps, with coffee and junk food addictions and weekly movie nights. They are currently attending Chilton Academy, like their mother before them.

Lorelei will be missed, but she will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. The family asks that instead of sending flowers that you instead go to a movie or drink a cup of coffee, for that is the only way to properly pay tribute to the very original Gilmore Girl.
