My first story of "Dreamwork Dragons" and don't own the characters, but only oc characters. Also excuse for any few grammar errors since I don't' have Microsoft Word on my computer, but my tablet. Let's skip all the introduction! Let's hop onto our dragons and adventure into the story!

Dragon Child: Riders of Berk
Chapter I "The Dragon Manual of Deadly Starfury"
Fang POV; Berk…
This is Berk. For generations. It was Viking and dragons. The battles were ferocious… then one day, everything changed.
The clouds passed in the sky peaceful and calm, just like Berk below. Since the battle with Red Death and peace has been brought upon them by one Viking and one dragon. Fang soon flew around the mountain as a dragon while wearing a leather belt across her body with six different color rages, which both are fire proof. The gold scale shined bright like a sun as it reflected by the sun itself.
Hiccup met Toothless, and together they've shown people here that instead of fighting dragons, we can ride them… live with them, even train them.
Fang straighten herself align as she looked around to smell familiar scent, or scents. She quickly dove to the forest, evading a black blur from above, along with a blue blur from the below. She fall to the forest incredible fast when she used her wings to decrease the speed then dove into the tree.
Underneath the trees, a gold light are seen above the leave, revealing Fang drop down in human appearance. She quickly ran through the forest incredible speed. Jumping over roots, fallen trees, rocks, even cliffs, she continued running to wherever her instinct tell her when she caught a familiar scent.
"Got cha!" Snotlout jumped out from the bushes on the left, grinning huge of plan success.
Fang looked where Snotlout jump out of dull expression. She jumped onto a root and back flipped on him to use him as a tumpline. She leaped into the tree, causing him to slam his face into the ground. He slid a bit and groaned in pain with bit of scratches on his face.
Jumping one branch to another, the twins hid by the cliff, behind a tree, with pair of net in their hands. Fang landed back on the ground again and ran toward the cliff. They has the nets ready and then tossed them to only missed and the Dragon Child.
"What?!" They shouted in a union while Fang quietly climbed up in the tree.
"This is your fault!" They stomped out their hiding spot while Tuffnut started arguing with Ruffnut.
"My fault?! This is your fault!" Ruffnut shouted pointing at him as she pushed him hard.
"No. It is your fault!" He pushed her back as they started fighting each other.
Fang continued listening to them arguing back and forth while fighting. The twins wrestled each other, now unware of their surrounding, as they fall off the cliff. They screamed falling toward the tree with crashes from branches. Within ten seconds, they has landed at the bottom with a loud thump and broken branches.
The Dragon Child jumped down and approached to the cliff to see the trees and hear them groaning in pain. A branch snapped from behind and she back flipped perfectly, watching the Jorgenson leap over the cliff without thinking. She quickly leaped onto the cliff and watched him falling like the twins screaming in shock.
"Fang!"
Fishlegs approached from behind panting hard. "Luckily I knew better than take action without thinking." He said calming while controlling his breathing.
Fishlegs took the green rag off her back. "I'm heading back to the Academy." He said walking back where his dragon stay.
"Bye-bye!" Fang waved and let her body to fall backward off the edge.
Snotlout and the twins started moving while rubbing where they felt the pain the most. They noticed few twists and branches above them and looked up to watch the Dragon Child falling with a huge smile. They screamed in shock, leaving her land perfectly onto the Jorgenson again and jump into the tree.
"Fang! You're died!" She heard him shouting at top of his lungs, jumping branch to branch while chuckling soft.
Fang jumped out the forest in time to run through the open field. She headed toward the huge cliff where the ocean is as she jumped off the cliff. Three riders ran out the bushes, only to found she is gone, as they approached to the cliff to only be blown backward by a strong gust of wind and gold and black dragon.
"Wow!" Snotlout shouted rolling backward while the twins fall backward.
Fang took the sky again as a gold and black dragon, flapping her wings to fly around the island. "Just in time. She will be in the sky within ten minutes, just like you say Astrid." Hiccup said watching Fang fly around with Toothless purring soft.
Hiccup looked up slightly to Astrid and Stormfly a bit higher than them. "Have been flying with her every dawn." Astrid shrugged crossing her arms while smiling with a smirk.
"Obvious." Hiccup rolled his eyes as he grabbed the saddle.
Fang smelled two scents and looked up to see Toothless and Stormfly flying toward her. She quickly dove down to the ocean and then toward Berk. They followed her to the village while Berk heard a familiar sound above them.
They watched the three dragons flying by, luckily high enough, as they felt the gust of wind from them. Stoick, Gobber, and Kara watched them fly a little faster to the sky. The three dragons gone around the island and in the same angle to the house they are coming to, Mildew's house.
Fang roared in shock and flapped her wings harder to fly above them. Mildew saw them coming back as he embraced for impact. He soon shouted and raised his staff in anger while taking few steps on his farm.
"That was too close!" Astrid held her hand on her chest, feeling her heart has skipped a beat.
"Yeah, no kidding." Hiccup agreed looking back to see the house vanishing in distance.
Stoick saw with his own eyes that he give the arena to be use to train dragons. Now, Berk has its own dragon academy, where they can train and learn dragons, expectedly one dragon.
The dragon, nor Viking, that never been seen in all generations… me.
They have span back to Berk in time for Fang to flip behind them. "Don't you dare…" Astrid slowly told Fang who has flamed up into a gold flame.
"You have the wagon ready?" Stoick asked Gobber not leaving his sight off them.
"Already done it when they're first flew by." Gobber told not leaving his sight on them as well.
Fang quickly tackled Hiccup and Astrid off their dragons as they fall toward Berk below them. Stormfly halted flapping her wings to keep herself where she is. Toothless glided down to one of the house as they watched the three teens falling into a wagon, full of hays.
"You're alright?" Stoick asked walking over with Gobber and Kara behind him.
Fang was kicked out the wagon as just they were near enough to watch her fall to the ground. Kara awed watching her sitting up next to her while shaking her head. She turned back to the wagon to see Astrid up glaring down to her little sister.
"Why must you do that?" Astrid asked getting up a little to see Fang chuckling soft instead answering.
Astrid screamed in shock, getting kick out as well by Hiccup. He struggled to get out while still shaken from the tackle. She glared furious at the scrawny rider as she kicked the wagon knocking him out. The Dragon Child laughed pointing of how funny that was, getting smack slightly on the head by her Viking mom.
Stoick, Gobber, and few other laughed in the background of Kara's parenting. Hiccup and Astrid stood up while dusting themselves when Astrid punched Hiccup not too hard. He glared slightly for the punch and saw her looking away not responding.
Fang leap forward to give Astrid a hug around the waist. Astrid chuckled patting her head while Hiccup smiled chuckling also and their dragons walking up to them. Fang purred rubbing her head against her sister's stomach.
The Great Hall…
"I hate that freak so much!"
"I still have that headaches from her jumping off me like a landing pad!" Snotlout shouted telling what Fang did to him while he, the rest of the riders, and the Dragon Child are eating lunch.
Hiccup decided to call lunch break when he, Astrid, and Fang saw Mildew approaching from where his house is. Stoick handled Mildew as he ordered them to head back and Gobber and Kara continued their lives. Astrid and Fang sat at the table next to the other since Fang ate more than the other on Berk.
"It is not her fault since you can't do the training properly." Astrid told Snotlout glaring over at him while patting Fang's head with a scratch.
"Speaking of training, why do we have to do this kind of training?" Snotlout have a question he has been holding back for a while. "What is the point of this since we can exactly do this in our normal Viking training?" He turned to the one who suggested this from the beginning since day one.
"It's true to Berk training is similar to this." Hiccup agreed to that part of the question while eating a chicken leg.
"Except you who is exactly a fishbone." Snotlout interrupted to point out Hiccup's life as he and the twins laughed.
Hiccup narrowed his eyes with Toothless lifting his head up growling and glaring mad. "What? I am making a point of Hiccup being the only one who…" Snotlout spoke the truth of what he said when he was hit on the head with a leg bone.
Fang growled baring her fangs as she crouched glaring at him. "Don't insult fishbone or you will get the freak." Tuffnut told insulting both the scrawny rider and the Dragon Child, laughing along with his sister beside him.
Hiccup looked over with a shrug eyes when he opened his eyes wide. He leaned back with quick reflex as he watched an empty cup thrown at the twin brother's nose then bounced to hit the Jorgensen rider's forehead. Astrid praised Fang of her throw while scratching her head.
"You know, Snotlout got me to realize something." Fishlegs joined in the conversation, getting all eyes on him.
"About what?" Astrid asked turning on her seat as she saw her sister bounce off.
"Get how the training is similar to our regular training as Viking, but what caught my attention is Fang." Fishlegs answered, getting confusion from them.
Fang flamed up as a dragon to snatch a chicken leg from Spitelout. "What is it about Fang that caught your attention?" Hiccup raised an eyebrow wondering of his question as he and the other looked over to watch her run away from the father of Snotlout.
"I know the training is to help build up our stamina, agility, and strength. With Fang as the holder of the six rag, what I realize is her dragon side." Fishlegs said explaining as he turned back to his seat. "We know so much about dragons with "The Book of Dragons". But, what about Fang? We didn't even know there was such a birth to Vikings, like her, to shift into a dragon."
"How are we supposed to know anything if something happened to her?" He finished explaining as he turned back to the Dragon Child quickly hide behind Kara.
Kara and Spitelout started arguing, getting Stoick and Gobber to step in. Fang quietly snuck off, without Spitelout noticing. She ran back to the other, getting Toothless to roar scolding her with disappointed look.
"Also, she will be in depress when she'll discover something she couldn't control or understand too well." Astrid added the fact that Fang doesn't even know about herself as she called her sister over to pat her head.
Toothless walked over to snort glaring, which Fang breathed small gold flame to his nose. He shook his head rapidly fast then glared down to see her laughing without a care to the world. They started a dragon fight, biting and growling to the end till one gave in.
"What should we do, Hiccup?" Fishlegs asked turning Hiccup since he is the headmaster of the academy.
"We know exactly what we are going to do." Hiccup stood up telling what their next task is.
Astrid nodded with a smirk, along with Fishlegs smiling as well. "Alright. Tomorrow, we will start analyzing Fang's dragon side." Hiccup told the group their new objectives, getting them to agree.
"Wait. What are we doing?" Tuffnut spoke up, rubbing his nose as he asked confused of what is going on.
Next Morning; Berk Dragon Academy…
"Alright, Fang. It's time to dragon up." Hiccup told Fang giving her permission to flame up into a dragon.
"Yeah!" Fang cheered sitting on top Stormfly's back.
They watched the Dragon Child to jump in the air, spinning as a gold flame appeared around her. The gold flame dissolved in time for her to land on all four as a gold and black dragon. She roared at top of her lungs, along with the dragons.
Stormfly walked over to Fang and started licking her head. "I believe I found something right away." Fishlegs said smiling as she walked over to the Dragon Child.
The other riders gathered around to see up close. "Looks how her upper body is like Toothless and the lower back is like Stormfly." They heard the Gronckle rider, pointing out the upper body then the lower back.
Fang took the look for herself, seeing it is true. The upper body is like Toothless while the lower back is like all the Deadly Nadders. Without the gold scale, it is definitely conformed that she is a hybrid of both dragons.
"The wings are between a Night Fury's and a Deadly Nadder's wings measurement." Astrid held the measurement tapes with Hiccup's help holding the end while Fang crouched down and extended her wings out.
"The tail is the same to a Night Fury, but missing a fin." Fishlegs held the tail slightly while hearing Fang's whining of the touch to her tail.
"Relax, Little One. It's will be over soon." Meatlug licked Fang's head comforting her.
"So what? Fang is useless with the fins?" Snotlout walked over questioning Fishkeg's discovery as he whole grabbed the tail to get a good look.
Fang lifted her head with eyes opened wide and swung her tail to sent Snotlout flying with gold spines followed. The gold spines pinned the Jorgenson rider to the wall like Astrid has Stormfly to do as well. The other riders gasped surprise, leaving the Dragon Child to crawl the other side of her dragon mother.
"Mama! He touch my tail!" Fang cried crouching closer to Stormfly's legs.
"Oh, baby." Stormfly nudged Fang's head with a few licks later.
"Idiot." Hookfang shook his head, disappointed of his rider as he lied down to the ground.
"That was awesome!" The twins exploded of the shock they have felt.
"No! Not awesome!" Snotlout thought otherwise as he jumped out the gold spine.
Hiccup and Fishlegs walked over to the gold spine. "Look at these spine!" Hiccup responded taking one of the gold spines out.
Once they pulled them out, they felt a strange heat coming from them as well watched the color changed fast. They never seen a spines do this, which it is obvious to them. The Dragon Child isn't a normal dragon, nor human, so she will give discovery of herself interesting.
"Are those real gold? These are given off some heat I never thought spines would do." Fishlegs asked watching while feeling the spine amazed.
"I don't know. I will have Gobber to check these out later." Hiccup responded and examined the spine to the sun to found a bright shine reaction to the spine.
"Did that mutton head touch your tail?" Astrid sat on the ground and rubbed Fang's head comforting her. "Poor, Fang." She let her lay her head on her laps while patting her head.
"Her head is properly mix with Night Fury and Deadly Nadder." Hiccup spoke up, seeing Fang's head as he bent down to scratch her chin.
Fang enjoyed the scratching while purring loud when she collapsed with her tongue out. "Found the spot." Hiccup said as he and Astrid laughed to normal scratch under dragons' chin.
Tuffnut creeped over to get behind Fang, forgetting about Stormfly when he has awoken the dragon from her slumber. Hiccup helped Astrid crawl away from explosion Dragon Child who jumped around in pain. Stormfly brought her face in front the one who held the gold scale in his hands.
"Tuffnut!" Hiccup shouted glaring over while trying to help calm Fang down.
"Oops." The twin brother shrugged his shoulders still frozen by the Nadder's glare.
The scrawny and Hofferson riders has managed to calm the Dragon Child down. They watched her look back where the gold scale was pulled out from her butt. There is a hole, where the gold scale was pulled, revealing a gold flat that is just above the black scale.
"Wow! It is gold!" Ruffnut shouted snatching the gold scale out of her brother's hand.
"That is why you yanked it?!" Astrid shouted exploding in rage while patting Fang's head.
"What? They said it's gold." Tuffnut explained by he yanked the gold scale, which getting Stormfly to glare down growling hard.
"You can at least grabbed the one spines that is still on the wall." Hiccup told them showing the spine in his hands then pointing to the wall in a shrug look. "And also, we didn't exactly said it is gold. Gobber need to look into them to determine if they are like gold or not."
"Right." They slowly said realizing when Barf and Belch chopped them in their mouths furious.
Fishlegs walked over where the gold scale was yanked. "It is like a regular scales, but revealed a plate underneath these scales." He examined them and about to touch them when he heard a whine from the Dragon Child.
"That does explain about the scale isn't shape like a scale, but a gem." Astrid picked up the scale, or gem, from the ground that Tuffnut has dropped.
"So, they're like a scale over another scales?" Snotlout asked getting rather confused as he turned to Hookfang who looked away with a growl.
"No scale… Golden Armor." Fishlegs corrected the term, getting Fang to cock her head with eyes open wide.
"Golden Armor. I like that." Astrid liked the name without giving a second thought.
"It certainly goes with it." Hiccup agreed with the names as well, getting Astrid's attention.
Fang yawned loud and stuck out her tongue, which it is open opportunity for Snotlout to make a perfect mark. He secretly got an eel, curling into a ball, and tossed into her mouth in a bull eyes. She quickly closed her mouth and backed away from the other to sit down.
"Oh, no. Who did it this time?!" Hiccup soon shouted in rage, glaring at the three suspects who will do it.
The twins waved their hands, showing emptiness in them. They turned to Snotlout who looked at his nails with lack of interest. He looked up to see all eyes, even dragons, are glaring at him. Hookfang walked behind him with a huger glare in his eyes.
"What… did you do?" Astrid slowly asked approaching with her fists ready to punch him.
"Nothing!" He shouted answering, which he should have answered honestly.
Fang began grumbling with a huge tearful eyes and cried at the top of her lungs. Stormfly opened her eyes wide and took off out the academy, which leaving Astrid confused, along with the other riders. The dragons tried to keep the Dragon Child calm, which it didn't helped up with her stomach upsetting her.
"What did that idiot gave her?!" Toothless asked glaring Snotlout who flinched to his glare.
"I don't even know." Hookfang responded disappointed in himself. "I should have seen."
"Whatever it is, we will figure out what he gave her." Meatlug told as she looked up to see Stormfly return.
Stormfly threw up full of fishes out. "Eat these Little One." She told Fang to eat the fish, who didn't need to be told to.
Fang quickly gulped up all the fishes, getting Hiccup, Astrid, and Fishlegs around to see what is going on. She finished all the fishes and started to feel her stomach rumbling rather loud. They opened their eyes to hear the loud rumble just as their dragons, even the other three riders, pulled them back to watch a large gold flamethrower happened.
Fang breathed fire for five minutes till she coughed out the half of the eel. "Eel?! Snotlout!" Astrid shouted seeing the cause and turned to the rider who did it.
Snotlout gulped in fear when Astrid charged toward him. "That's going to hurt." Tuffnut said while he and the other riders flinched to the beating that is happening.
"Oh, yeah!" Ruffnut agreed slowly nodding her head as she and her brother slowly grinned wide.
Fang sat dropping to the ground and burped with the small flame. "You are alright, Little One?" Stormfly walked over, checking on her hatchling as she nudged her head.
Astrid finished hurting Snotlout as she tossed him at the twins who are still laughing. Snotlout will have bruises for the next for days. Fishlegs flinched of the sight and turned to watch the older sister who is cuddling her little sister.
"Thanks to Snotlout, we know what the eel will do to Fang if she eat it." Hiccup told the good side of this discovery.
"He should have told us instead doing it out of a joke." Astrid agreed with Hiccup, but still furious of Snotlout's action.
"I believe we got all that out of the ways." Fishlegs grabbed their attentions with a huge smile on his face. "Now let's do the flight test!"
Fang lifted her head up hearing they are going to fly. "Yeah!" She hopped around, bouncing around Stormfly who is following her with her head.
"Someone is getting excited." Snotlout commented slowly getting up while grunting in pain.
The gold flame sparked from Fang's horn nose then ignited around her. All the riders gasped in shock, watching her in the air for a short moment till she landed on her back legs. They gasped further more than before as they saw the form they never thought to see again.
The gold flame dissolved by one blast of the wind when Fang spread out her wings out wide. She is new the dragon form, looking like Deadly Nadders. She has the exact features of the Deadly Nadder while her wings are more like an arm. The Golden Armor has changed as well to match like the Deadly Nadder horns.
Fang walked over to Stormfly to found she is still shorter than her. "You got to be kidding me." Snotlout slowly said, couldn't express his thought to this.
"I can't believe we will get to see this form again."Fishlegs gasped in shock to see her other form again, which Astrid wasn't exactly shock like the other.
"You think you can't believe it? I didn't get a chance to see this form." Astrid told them, reminding them of her solution back with the battle against Floki.
Hiccup and Fishlegs remembered nodding their heads while the twins and Snotlout don't remembered, only the fight. Fang cocked her head to the side while Stormfly squeaked soft, yet loud. They turned to each other then back to them, wondering what is going on.
Hour and an Half Later…
Stormfly and Fang are racing each other in speed while Fang is in her second form. Hiccup and Fishlegs marked the time when the two sisters past the lap. Hiccup do Astrid and Stormfly's time while Fishlegs do Fang's time. They watched them returned from their race just as Fang flamed up into her Viking side and landed on Stormfly's back.
"It seem that Fang's speed is almost close to Stormfly's speed." Fishlegs analyzed the times to announce Fang's speed limit.
"What do you mean "close"? She could be faster than Stormfly if she'll want to." Astrid asked scratching Stormfly's chin then looked up to see Fang laying on her dragon mom's back.
"Not exactly" Fishlegs looked over the Book of Dragons to see Deadly Nadder's speed and Stormfly's speed. "Speed limit to Deadly Nadder is exactly like Stormfly's, or if they have the right rider like you Astrid." He told the dragon'' speed and then complimenting Astrid and her dragon.
"Thank you." Astrid smiled crossing her arms of the praise given to her.
"As for Fang, since she is two year younger than you and much younger than Stormfly, she should have be much slower than Stormfly." The chubby rider wrote down on the paper while looking over to the time tower besides.
"I'm hearing a "but" is going on." Hiccup joined in with a feeling the conversation is going somewhere.
"Fang is few minutes away to match to Stormfly. I'm not saying it is bad or anything, I believe there is something going on when she is flying." He heard him telling that the Dragon Child has done something while flying.
"Astrid. Did you notice something while you are in the sky?" Hiccup turned to Astrid, asking her if she saw something unusual in their race.
"I'm not sure. I should have pay attention more than forcing on the race." Astrid admitted to fail to notice as she looked up to see her sister is gone.
"Fang?" The riders and Stormfly looked around for Fang to see her not in the academy.
"She must have snuck out to grab something to eat." Fishlegs gave a thought of where Fang have gone to.
"Eh, why not we're go find her?" Hiccup told them, mounting on Toothless as he locked his leg to the saddle. "I don't see any harm since she was getting bored."
"I'm down." Fishlegs shrugged his shoulder, agreeing to come.
"We just have to find her before those mutton heads get to her." Astrid mounted on Stormfly just as Stormfly took off to the sky with Toothless and Meatlug following behind.
Out in the Ocean…
The three riders flew around the ocean, even the area where they would be meet. They looked for the gold and black dragon all round when they have found her. Fang is in the ocean swimming while on her back and sticking out her paws.

"Ah, this is your sister you are talking about." Hiccup responded looking up grinning. "You're supposed to know your own sister when she'll shift into a dragon."
"I will "shift" that grin if you don't stop." She threated him, giving her usual glare and cracking knuckles.
"I give, I give." He lifted his hands in defense stance. "I'm just saying since this is Fang we are talking about." He looked away, continuing grinning while rolling his eyes.
Fishlegs looked around just on his right. "Found her! He called out pointing where the Dragon Child is.
Hiccup and Astrid, even Toothless and Stormfly, looked down as they found Fang in the ocean still as a dragon. She is swimming on her back with her wings spread out under the water. What she did unbelievable, she waggle her
"She got to be kidding me." Astrid chuckled shaking her head unbelievable.
"Hey, she is your little sister after all. Nothing come surprise with her in your family." Hiccup said glancing up again before looking away to mumble the last part grinning.
"What was that, Hiccup?" She turned questioning what he said since she heard him mumbling.
"Nothing, m'lady. I didn't say anything further." He looked back up, looking all innocent, which he did said something, just don't want to admit it.
Fang span in the water and swam around when she heard something loud. The other heard it as well as they looked around to watch a familiar Monstrous Nightmare and his rider dive down from above. The Dragon Child dove into the water and quickly swam away to see Hookfang diving in with screaming Snotlout.
They watched her come to surface, along with the dragon few seconds later. "This is going to be interesting." Hiccup said leaning back on the saddle while Fishlegs began observing Fang's flying style.
"Come get me, Uncle Hookfang!" Fang shouted shaking her butt before taking off.
"Get back here, you little devil!" Hookfang shouted increasing his speed, as well keep his distance between them.
"Hookfang. Mind you not harming her too much." Stormfly told Hookfang, warning when playing with her.
"Already know about it." She heard him while watching them fly past above them.
"Come on, Hookfang! Go faster!" Snotlout told Hookfang to increase his speed to catch up to Fang.
Hookfang rolled his eyes and kept his speed the way he liked. Fang noticed dozen pillars just on her right. She turned right heading to the pillars with them just behind them. Snotlout continued encouraging his dragon to go faster, who continued to ignore him with shrug eyes.
Fang swift left and right to evade the pillar when she saw the larger one and gone right. "Ha! Like we are going to fail for this one! Go left!" Snotlout laughed of the choose she and told Hookfang to go left, which leaving the dragon to have a bad feeling.
They gone left by the cocky rider's order when they saw something unexpectedly. They, even the other, opened their eyes wide to see Fang… siting… on the pillar rock with a large smug on her face. Hookfang doesn't know how to respond as he stopped completely, causing Snotlout to be sent flying to the ocean.
"Opps." Hookfang opened his eyes to see what he has done.
"That… was unexpected." Fishlegs spoke out the words after writing down what they have witness.
"That Golden Armor is too mystery." Hiccup said chuckling while shrugging his shoulders. "Not only they are like armor with many appearances to what form she flamed up into…" Astrid finished the rest of the sentence about the Golden Armor.
"Her paws are like Monstrous Nightmares' claws, she can climb and stick into anything." She said remembering the time when they were in the first day of dragon training.
Fang flew on top of Hookfang's back, looking where Snotlout has flown into. "I'm going to leave now while you get that idiot human." She said watching the Jorgenson swimming in the ocean as she quickly took off fast.
"I'll keep him delay." Hookfang responded back, diving down to get his rider.
Fang quickly escaped from the pillar into an open where any dragons and riders are able to see her. She quickly headed up to the clouds to avoid Snotlout and his torment when she caught a familiar scent of gas. She evaded a fireball with ease, coming from just above. She looked up to watch Barf and Belch flying down with the twins laughing devilishly.
"Oh, dragonlord." Fang swore fading quickly after seeing the twins.
"Bet to run away right now." Barf and Belch said telling her as they are close enough for her to hear them.
Fang dove down through the clouds, passing Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, and their dragons. "There she go." Astrid said watching her little sister diving down with Stormfly following her down to the ocean.
The twins and their dragon are seen after coming from behind. "And there they go." Fishlegs said leaning to his right to watch them chase after the Dragon Child.
Fang spread out her wings to fly straight as she looked back seeing coming in fast. The twins are trying to keep their eyes on her while Barf and Belch are also trying, but to only to keep her safe from them. She looked around to see something to escape when she found the solution to escape.
Since the twins are… twins, the Dragon Child made a shape turn to the right in front of them, the Hideous Zippleback has to make a wide turn behind. They saw a pillar coming up in front of them, leaving the dragon to stare each other with their eyes wide. Knowing the twins are too dumb to figure it out, they followed her plans while hopefully they will be alright.
Fang quickly sped up to the pillar as well signaling Barf and Belch. "Now stop!" She shouted gathering her strength to flap one time to fly up.
Barf and Belch quickly, luckily, to stop into before they could hurt themselves, although not for the twins. In that sharp stop, Ruffnut and Tuffnut are sent flying into the ocean, just like Snotlout before. They screamed at the top of their lungs, cheering for the speed and impact into the ocean. They saw her coming down and paw pumped each other of success.
Hiccup noticed something in Fang's flying, which he couldn't figure out what it is. "Did you have fun, Fang? Did you show those mutton heads a lesson on bullying you?" Astrid saw Fang coming to her as she stroke her chin with a scratch while asking how her times was.
"I'm hungry!" Fang roared smiling while her stomach rumble on time.
"I will catch tons of fish for you." Stormfly said nudging her dragon daughter's head.
"Yeah!" The Dragon Child cheered falling down to the ocean then flying back up.
"Let's head back. I think it is lunch time." Fishlegs told the other as he gave the signal to Meatlug to head back to the academy.
They headed back to Berk while Fang rode on Stormfly after shifting into her human form. "Hey, Fang. Want to have a race back to Berk?" Hiccup asked calling out Fang to a race back to Berk.
Fang cocked her head to sudden call out. "Why a sudden idea of a race?" Fishlegs asked raising an eyebrow of a race.
"Ah, I just want to see how fast she is in her original dragon form." Hiccup answered shrugging his shoulders, which left Astrid suspended to his answer.
"Well, we just did Fang's second dragon form. We didn't exactly got her original dragon form." Fishlegs just remembered the speed test they has done was the second form and not the original form.
"I don't see a problem to see, right Astrid?" He turned the older sister of the Dragon Child to hear her respond.
Astrid glanced back to Fang who cocked her head to her. "I don't see why not. Just don't go easy on her, she will be very upset if you do." She gave her permission to race after teasing her little sister who pouted in the end of treating her like a baby.
"You mean. I'm not a hatchling." Fang told pouting completely large.
"Let's see about that." Astrid chuckled to her reaction as she ordered Stomfly to roll, allowing her sister to fall to the ocean.
Fang glowed in gold flame and quickly flew out as a dragon. She flapped her wings to fly next Toothless as they stared each other and waited for the signal. Fishlegs saw they are ready and gave Meatlug to signal to roar, announcing to go. Both dragons took off flying fast while heading to Berk. Stormfly and Meatlug followed behind while trying to keep up to them.
Obvious for Toothless to be the fastest dragon in the book of dragons, he flew far ahead while Fang tried to keep up from behind. Hiccup watched to see she is not too fast as Toothless, but fast enough to beat Stormfly and the other dragons. With that, he need to know how what it is as he kept a thought of the Golden Armor in his mind.
Fang wrapped her wings hard to catch up to her brothers, but isn't making a process. She watched them fly further away by every minute. Increasing her speed isn't helping much, she didn't realize Snotlout and Hookfang is right above her. The twins and Barf and Belch are coming in from the side when Astrid and Stormfly stopped in front of them.
"Hey! What is the big idea?!" Ruffnut shouted asking Astrid why she stopped them mad.
"Sorry, but I won't let you interrupt their race!" Astrid told them glaring as she took off giving a parting gifts of Stormfly's spines to the twins.
Barf and Belch evaded the spines with lucks. "Wow!" Tuffnut shouted panting in shock of how close those spines are to his face.
"Astrid!" Ruffnut shouted slamming her hands on Barf's head in rage.
Snotlout laughed devilishly, looking down at Fang. "Time for payback!" He shouted grinning so devilishly as well.
"Hold on, Snotlout!" He heard a shouted and looked back fading to see Fishlegs and Meatlug behind him. "She is having a race with Hiccup and Toothless! Leave her alone!" Fishlegs shouted telling what is going on while trying to stop the Jorgenson rider.
"Ah, do I look I care?" Snotlout asked raising an eyebrow while giving the look lack of interest.
"But Astrid…!" Fishlegs was cut off by Hookfang's tail smacking Meatlug off balance.
"Sorry, Fishlegs! I couldn't hear you after planning a whole revenge of payback!" Snotlout innocently told ordering Hookfang to fly a little faster as he grinned devilishly again.
Hiccup and Toothless looked up to see them right above Fang. "Of all time!" Hiccup muttered glaring irritation while Toothless snarled glaring loud.
"Com' on, Fang! I know you can fly a little faster than that!" The scrawny rider called out to the Dragon Child, encouraging her to try to fly a little faster.
"You can do it, Little Sister! You're part of me! I know you can fly faster!" Toothless encouraged Fang as well, giving all of his supports, which the encouragement started to build up heat inside of her.
"A little closer! A little closer!" Snotlout waited the right moment to signal Hookfang to fire.
"Snotlout!" Astrid shouted at top of his lungs, getting Stormfly to fly faster to keep up.
"Now feel the fire of a Monstrous Nightmare!" Snoutlout shouted at top of his lungs while giving the order to Hookfang.
"Sorry for you, I'm not doing this for fun, but help my niece!" Hookfang said knowing he don't understand him as he opened his mouth after sensing a strong heat from the Dragon Child.
Hookfang breathed out a flamethrower toward Fang, getting the riders to gasp in shock, but not the dragons. They sensed a strong heatwave coming from the Dragon Child. With the flamethrower help, something is going to happen with the firepower to her firepower. The fire hit directly on the Golden Armor, causing the fire to change to gold fire.
"No… way…" Tuffnut slowly gasped while he and Ruffnut opened their eyes and mouths wide.
Unlike Snotlout who grunted annoyed. "You got to be kidding me!" He shouted in rage glaring at what is going to happen.
Hiccup looked back watching Fang flapping her wings in the gold fireball. They watched the flame flapping with many change of its appearance. Within seconds later, the fireball dissolved with one strong gust of wing, revealing another appearance.
They gasped and opened their eyes wider as they saw Fang… as a Night Fury. Her whole body, head, and tail looked exactly like Toothless with extra small wings and fins on the tail. The Golden Armor changed as well to look exactly like Toothless, just extra sharp. Fang shook her body from the flame up while releasing some heat in her Golden Armor.
"By the Thor lightning…" Fishlegs couldn't finish as he has gone insane to another dragon form.
"I called it since she is hybrid of Night Fury and Deadly Nadder after all." Astrid called out winning a bet to Fang's flaming up with Hiccup before they left the academy to search after Fang.
Fang glared up toward Snotlout who flinched sensing the glare from above. She span around fast and fire a fast plasma blast toward them. He screamed watching the fire coming toward them as it hit his dragon directly, but not too directly badly. The Monstrous Nightmare swung his head back, sending his rider flying toward the ocean again.
"You alright?" Barf asked while Belch gone silence in shock.
Hookfang shook his head of the impact. "I'm fine. Just keep them away from her, that blast wasn't a joke to mess with." He warned the Hideous Zippleback of her rage as he dove down to fetch his rider.
"No kidding." They said in a reunion as they looked back to see the Dragon Child's glare.
"Come on, Toothless. Let's see how fast her Night Fury to a real Night Fury." Hiccup leaned down to tell close to Toothless' head.
Toothless growled shaking his head grinning as he pulled back fast to be next to Fang. "Ready for a rematch? We are going all out." Hiccup told Fang who turned her head as he encouraged a challenge within her.
Fang roared completely loud. "Ready?!" Hiccup shouted leaning forward on the saddle.
Both dragons separated each other and steadied their wings. "Get set?!" They heard him narrowing their eyes as they saw Berk just ahead.
"Go!" Hiccup called the signal, pulling the level on the tail for Toothless to take off faster.
Fang watched her brother get a head start first as she rolled her eyes and lowered her head to the same level to her body. She released bit of heat in the Golden Armor out as they started to lift up and down from the head, spines, and tail. They looked back to see how Fang is doing when they quickly changed their expression to extreme shock.
"Wow!" Hiccup shouted in shock while Toothless quickly evaded as fast he could.
They looked up to watch Fang… fly… past them faster, they couldn't believe their eyes. The scrawny rider pulled the level again and allowed his dragon to speed up from behind. The other watched from above to see both dragons gone within the distance.
"How can she be that fast?!" Tuffnut shouted asking while waving his hands unbelievable.
"It has to be the Golden Armor!" Fishlegs said starting explaining his theory to the other. "Of course Night Fury are the fastest dragon in the Book of Dragon. But Fang's dragon side is part Night Fury and Deadly Nadder, she isn't that close to either dragons' speed due to being the youngest unless she has some help in the way." The twins and Snotlout are left confused of what he said.
Astrid gasped getting what he is said. "The Golden Armor!" She answered remembering her sister's dragon armor.
"Exactly!" She watched him lift up his right finger. "Since Toothless has extra smaller wings and fins on the tail, Fang has her own help and that is the Golden Armor. I don't know how she look now, but with the help from the Golden Armor, she could be the next fastest dragon along with Toothless."
"I'm hearing a "but" in this." Snotlout said rubbing his head from the impact into the water.
"It is obvious to see…" The other turned to Astrid who smirked widely. "She is the youngest among us. She may be fast like Toothless, it doesn't mean she is exactly fast than him if she challenge other dragons other than a Night Fury."
"Obviously." Ruffnut agreed chuckling, leaving Tuffnut confused.
"What is?" He has to ask that question, getting his sister to glare and Hofferson rider to roll her eyes and shake her head.
"Mutton head." Astrid whispered looking annoyed as she ordered Stormfly to increase her speed.
Toothless has flown next to Fang who grinned to the sudden call back. He glared growling not amused while Hiccup has a chance to see the Golden Armor as he watched them lift up and down depending on her. He looked up to see another grin on her face and faded completely to expect what is going to happen next.
Fang did another take off, leaving them to be flown behind. "Let's go, bud. Let show her that you don't out beat a Night Fury and taking off with a grin on her face." Hiccup patted Toothless' neck, telling him while their eyes are narrowed annoyed.
She looked back to see them coming in fast and looking determine to catch up. She laughed and flapped her wings to fly faster. She flew past the harbor, getting the grownups to look confused after five seconds they heard a familiar sound flew past above them.
Stoick, Gobber, and Kara looked up to the sky to see two blurs coming in fast. "What in Odin beard was that?!" Gobber shouted feeling the two blast of winds from them passing them.
"I don't know, but I believe it is Hiccup and Fang." Stoick answered fixing his helmet while watching them turn fast around the island.
"But how?" He heard Kara questioning as he looked over. "I thought Night Fury are the fastest dragons of dragon history."
"True. Unless Fang has unlock a secret that she can match to their speeds." The chief looked up to the sky with the other to see few familiar dragons coming in out of the ocean.
"Big brother! I thought you are the fastest dragon than all dragons!" Fang called out looking over to tease Toothless while shaking her butt.
Toothless snorted glaring hard. "When I'll get my claws on you…" He said to his sister as they has passed Mildew's house. "You are in big deep trouble once we'll get back!" He told getting angry as he managed to get ahead of her.
Fang didn't reply and stuck out her tongue, getting Toothless to glare annoyed. "Here they come!" Fishlegs shouted seeing two dots making a turn and heading to the academy.
"I bet Fang make it in first!" Ruffnut betted with the other riders who will enter first.
"I'll bet Fang, too!" Tuffnut raised his hands, shouting on Fang.
"Not that I like either of them, I bet Hiccup." Snotlout betted leaning against on Hookfang who is sleeping.
"Are you still mad on Fang for what she did to you?" Astrid questioned his reason, crossing her arms grinning amused of his choice.
"Ah, yeah!" The Jorgenson rider answered without hesitation when his dragon nudged him off growling annoyed.
"It is hard to choice." Fishlegs responded thinking over about it carefully.
"If you are in or you are out, which will you choice, Fishlegs?" Ruffnut told raising an eyebrows while she, her brother, and Snsotlout setting up the bets.
Fishlegs gave another thought carefully. "I'm not. Astrid?" He answered, doesn't want to be part of this as he turned to the Hofferson rider for her respond.
"Natural." Astrid responded patting Stormfly's head.
"You can't do that!" Snotlout argued of the choice to only silence to her and her dragon's glare.
"Here they come!" They turned to Fishlegs who shouted then looked out see Fang and Toothless coming in fast.
Toothless and Fang are nose to nose, coming in fast to the academy. The other riders watched from the inside, waiting to see who will enter first while Astrid walked to the side of the entry to the academy. The Dragon Child flew above the Night Fury, which both him and the scrawny rider knew why as both entered the academy from the entry and through the bars.
Astrid counted down to herself while leaning against the wall in time to feel them enter just in time. Toothless is still flying in the air while Fang flew above her sister's dragon to flame up into her human form. Stormfly quickly caught her before she could touch the ground as she listened to her yawning loud.
"Wait! Who entered first?!" Tuffnut shouted getting frustrated since he couldn't tell and they entered too fast.
"I couldn't tell!" Ruffnut agreed getting frustrated while Snotlout scratched his head irritated.
Fishlegs watched Toothless land and Hiccup dismount. "Should I even asked?" Hiccup walked up asking what got into them all of sudden.
"Don't worry about it. It is them after all." Fishlegs said telling not to worry about them since he will tell later when those three are gone.
"How's Fang?" The scrawny rider asked concern as they looked over to watch Stormfly attending to sleeping Dragon child on her neck.
"She must be exhausted from the race, as well trying to escape the twins' and Snotlout's torments." Fishlegs said remembering what has happened outside of the ocean.
"True. I only asked Fang to a race to get a better look on the Golden Armor." Hiccup told his true attendance of the race while Astrid walked over to check on her sister.
"What did you found out?" Astrid asked looking up, curious what he has discovered.
Hiccup smirked widely. "I hope you have something to write with, because what I found is something incredible." He said still amazed as he turned back, with Fishlegs and Astrid, to sleeping Fang who has a smile on her.
Dragons can't change who they are. But who would want them to? Dragons are powerful, amazing creatures.
Hiccup told everything what he discovered to Fishlegs who wrote everything in every single details. Astrid watched Fang eat every fishes Astrid has given to her and Stormfly has fetched from the ocean. She patted her sister's head while she ate as a dragon.
That goes for me to. If any Vikings or dragons tell me to change who I am, they must have to find a way handle it. There is no way I am going to change something about me since I am who I am.
Daytime has gone to midnight and Hiccup took out a book, revealing the finish book with Fang's dragon shoulder plate design on the cover. He and Astrid sat on the steps of her house while Fang played with Toothless and Stormfly. They looked over the book to see he has right amount of pages with addition papers with more details to the pages that has been added.
"What should we named Fang's three dragon forms?" Astrid asked Hiccup looking over to the dragons to watch them play.
"I agree. We know what she is now is her original appearance so we need to name that." Hiccup agreed looking up to the sky to think.
"She has an ability to flame up to, not only her original and human appearances, but more, whatever they are. All we know for now is two." The Hofferson rider added the fact about the two addition forms as she held up two fingers for what they has saw.
"She is the hybrid with a Nadder. Why don't you give the code name?" The scrawny rider said grinning, earning a shock, yet a chuckle from her.
"Code name?"
"It will be easy to signal her to flame up into, plus we can't just name all her other form since they not exactly what they to be." He told his reason while resting his left arm on his thigh, which he honestly told the truth about he doesn't want to name all the forms to the dragons.
"Funny." Astrid rolled her eyes as she began thinking. "How about Nadder? Short and simple to remember."
Hiccup nodded smiling. "Nadder? I like that, "Nadder Form"." He liked the choice with her liking what he has added.
"Nadder Form. How about you since she is hybrid with Night Fury, too?" She asked him watching him think over till he has an idea.
"Night Form."
They agreed to the code names for Fang's second and third dragon forms, now for her original appearance. They looked back to the dragons to watch the Dragon Child fly to the sky. The scrawny rider watched her bend in the night, but the Golden Armor gave a shine like she is a shooting stars. Within a minute, he has thought a name for her original appearance.
Astrid noticed Hiccup has came up a name already. "You have already thought of the name." She asked him to see a nod for a respond.
"So, what is the name you have chosen for her then?" She asked the name for Fang's original dragon form.
Hiccup didn't answer, but wrote it out on the dirt. "Starfury? She is like a star and part Night Fury." Astrid smirked again, taking a liken of the name.
He didn't answer as he wrote it on the dirt instead. "Starfury?" She read slowly and gave it a thought when he continued of the name.
"Not just a Starfury, a Deadly Starfury." Hiccup told the full name, combining both names of Night Fury and Deadly Nadder with the star in a twist.
Astrid chuckled shaking her head. "Deadly Starfury. I really like that." She completely liked the name, nodding her head.
"Well, thanks you m'lady." Hiccup playfully bowed, appropriately of the comment smiling.
"Ew."
They quickly turned to see their dragons in front of them. "You are smoothly and kissy again." Fang said really disgusted as she sat on top Toothless who is sitting on the ground.
Hiccup and Astrid laughed of the Dragon Child's reaction who started to pout. She began attacking them in the end as it ended up in a chase between two sisters. Kara and Stoick showed up to hold each girls back, which they watched the Dragon Child escaped to hide behind the chief who is left confused and Hiccup laughing.
