Elizabeth's beta fish had gone belly up. Oh, dear, she sighed. This was the third fish in a month.
"I don't think I'm feeding it enough." She thought aloud. Nobody else lived with her, so she was free to say whatever she wanted when she wanted. Taking the fish, she flushed it down the toilet, but not before swearing never to get another fish. As the day passed, she realized that she missed her fish. For Elizabeth had grown quite fond of just watching him. So after work, she stopped by the fish store. Browsing the fish, she went straight to where the beta fish were. She looked at the fish food when a flashy new package caught her eye. Picking it up, it looked like it might work. In big letters on the front of the package said: Never feed your fish again!! She turned it around and looked at the back. Apparently all you had to do was fill the little dish with food once a month. It would then feed your fish, and you didn't have to!! She would get this then, and get a fish. Yes, that would work!! She tracked down an employee, and he bagged up a purple beta fish for her. She took the fish, along with the feeder and the food to the counter. Purchasing all three, she hurried home and set her up. There, now she didn't have to worry about her dying.
One-and-a-half months later
Elizabeth ran out of her room on the way to work. Stopping to see her fish, it had given up the ghost. Wondering what she did wrong, she flushed the fish down the toilet, and went to work. She was almost off when it hit her: She had forgotten to refill the feeder!!
The End
Seriously, I don't know where these keep coming from!! Tell me if you like them, I'm not sure how many more I'm going to write.
