Disclaimers: I do not own anything but the plot and the obviously original characters.
A/N: I swear it's been so long. I'm trying my best though. I hope you all enjoy. Reviews keep me going.
Summary: Their love was a silent love. Faramir and Arwen romance story.
She would smile at him.
He grinned back
Their love was a still love.
It was easily seen as a platonic love; a love based on friendship. But deep within the well placed lie of alliance due to a connection with their king, inside both their strong and loving hearts was a stronger affection for one another. It was the kind of emotion; the kind of love when the soul and the spirit met their match – their kindred opposites.
She would watch him. He would let her.
His eyes would follow her. She consented.
Their love was a soundless love.
It was there. It existed, but it never came out into the open where the mere idea of that kind of closeness was considered traitorous and called a betrayal. But at certain moments where it was allowed to be conveyed where there was no indication of being caught unawares, their eyes would meet one another. They would look on as the other acts like a different person; as the person all others required them to be. But in their hearts, they knew the reality. They knew each other more than any other.
She would sing to him.
He echoed her words.
Their love was quiet love.
And when they were alone, they would whisper their feelings. They could never really know who was in what room and who was behind the walls. But they continued to speak softly to one another. They would not speak about how much their passion for the other meant to them. They merely spoke of dreams.
Her love was a silent love.
He shyly returned that love.
