Disclaimers: I do not own anything but the plot and the obviously original characters.
A/N: I swear it's been so long. I'm trying my best though. I hope you all enjoy. Reviews keep me going. (Yes, they is repeated but that's was on purpose.)
Summary: Smiles. Watching. Songs. Whispers. They did this for each other. Faramir and Arwen romance story.
The smiles that they shared were reserved only for one another.
The ones that they gave others were either practiced ones, out of the air ones, fakes ones, or soft genuine ones.
They let the corners of mouths rise out of laughter.
They expressed friendliness out of courtesy.
They looked pleased for duty.
They grinned for family love.
They simpered at the platonic emotions.
But when they beamed at each other, it was real, open, and filled with their soundless love.
They watched each other.
They looked for one another whenever they could.
They followed the other in secret.
They observed the other as they noticed someone else.
They looked after one another in adoration.
They guarded.
They tended.
In their eyes, the quiet love remained.
The songs they sang implied their feelings for one another. Their songs were of many chords; singing of many things such as sadness, tragedy, heartbreak, anger and fear; for that is what they know would happen if their still love was to be found.
They joined in chorus with the false pretense of doing it for a crowd in a banquet.
As their voices became one, it is then that their shy love is finally spoken of.
They whispered to each other.
Oh, such warm, soft sounds they gave!
When alone, they would talk low to one another about their musings and memories.
They confided in the other not of their love, but of their dreams.
They breathed out their fantasies which made them cry out for their love to no longer be hidden.
Their love was an irrevocable love.
Their smiles were of their secrets.
The watching was of the passions.
The songs were for their dreams.
The whispers were of silence.
Such was their silent love which was emanated through smiles, eyes that followed songs, and whispers.
The End
End-note: I hope you all enjoyed this short one. Reviews appreciated!
