"Tobi

"Tobi?" Deidara called again. He had been searching through the entire compound, but had found no sight of his orange masked friend.

He stopped for a second, standing outside Tobi's bedroom door, to fix his blonde ponytail. When he was done he opened the door and walked inside only to find it empty.

He sat down on the bed puzzled. He looked over to the pillow and found a folded piece of paper with his name scrawled on the front.

He opened the letter and written in the lovely script he'd only seen a few times was a letter to him:

My Deidara,

I'm sorry to inform you that I have had to leave the Akatsuki for the time being. I'll come back to be with you again as soon as I can. If I never do make it back I want you to know the answer to the question Hidan asked me the other day.

Deidara put down the letter before continuing on. He thought back a few days to when the whole Akatsuki, except for Pein and Konan, had been sitting in the kitchen. '"So, Tobi, do you love Deidara? Or even like him? You two are sure fucking confusing."' Tobi hadn't answered the question, just simply ignored it. Deidara nodded his head as he looked back down to the paper.

He remembered what Hidan had asked and read the last line. Then he read it again, and again:

I love you and need you more than air.

Obito A.K.A Tobi

Deidara fell forward onto the pillow and cried. He cried because Obito was gone and because he finally knew how Obito felt about him, but couldn't tell him how he felt.

"Deidara? What are you doing here?" A voice asked him.

Deidara sat up and wiped his eyes before turning. "Itachi?" His voice was ruff.

"I came in to make sure Tobi hadn't left anything behind. Did he?"

"N-no." He chocked out.

"Yes he did."

"What?" Deidara questioned as he looked around him to spot the missing thing.

Itachi had him pinned to the bed in a second, "A very attractive blonde boy."

Deidara looked up at Itachi and wondered why he was being this way all of a sudden.

He thought, 'Every time Itachi saw me he glared so I thought that he didn't like me, but he must've been glaring at Tobi because he was always behind me and since Itachi, um, likes me, then Tobi would've never let him touch me…'

Staring into Itachi's black eyes frightened him a little so Deidara closed his eyes.

"Do I… scare you?" Itachi whispered in his ear. Deidara winced and nodded his head.
