He bit the teen on his already-bleeding arms. "Please stop." The boy begged. He didn't listen. The teen screamed as he bit even harder, causing even more blood to rush out from his
arms. He never stopped. He bit and kicked the teen until his hair was stained red. The teen never got help and he knew this. He decided that the pain wasn't enough. He moved on to the boy's legs.
Slashing away at the the teen's legs with his fingernails. "Stop. Please!" The teen continued to beg. He liked it when the boy begged. Begging for mercy… He couldn't explain it. It gave him power over the boy.
He liked power. He had never had a good life and was determined to make the teen's life the same. Why should he spend his life over a dumb 16-year-old when he never had anything?
The teen was always abused by him. He always told him that he never had anything as a teenager. So why did he take it out on him? He told the teen that he was lucky that he had something in his life. The boy thought that he was lucky if his tormenter simply neglected him.
He noticed that the teen was leaving. "Where are you going?" He asked roughly. The boy whimpered and replied quietly "Outside." If he had known what the teen planned to do, he would not have let the teen leave the house.
Relieved to be outside, the teen walked to the bridge. He planned to jump and end his life. His tormenter wouldn't be there. The teen looked down from the bridge. Rocks and a heavy current would kill him for sure. The teen wondered whether his tormenter would miss him. No way. With that thought fresh in his mind, Ryou jumped off the bridge.
Screaming. Why was everyone screaming? Bakura wondered if something was wrong. Forget it. It's not your problem. Bakura thought. He turned on the TV. A kid had jumped off a bridge.
Bakura didn't care until he heard who it was. Ryou.
Ryou was sent straight to the hospital. He had no visitors except his friends.
Bakura wondered whether he had made Ryou jump off the bridge. He was Ryou's dark side, his yami. His tormenter. That's when Bakura realized. He had tormented Ryou so much that Ryou wanted to end his life. Bakura decided that when Ryou recovered, he would be nicer. Much nicer.
Author's Note. It starts out sad and hopeless, but it has a sort-of happy ending. Review Please!
