MOAS
"How do you live with the mother of all secrets?" Tony asked.
"You don't. It consumes you, it eats you like a cancer, from the inside. First there's the guilt, and then there's the excruciating urge to blab your secret even though you know it's gonna spell your doom." Abby said and then asked "Have you gotten to that stage yet?"
"No! It's a hypothetical situation we're talking about!" Tony retorted.
"Still in the guilt stage, huh; Well, then you know, you can't take it anymore, it drives you insane, so you blab your secret to your best friend, or your mother, or your lover and it sets you free!" Abby said definitely.
"Well, who did you tell?" Tony asked.
"Kate." Abby said slightly sad.
"Did she tell you hers?"
"Well duh!"
Flash back
Kate was at Abby's for the night watching movies when they got bored.
"Let's play truth or dare!" Abby exclaimed.
"Umm I suppose." Kate said a little unsure of where this might lead.
"Ok well there is one rule, no matter what the dare or truth question it has to be done."
"Oh come on!"
"Nope that's the rule, okay I'll go first and I choose truth."
"What's your MOAS?"
"Aww come on Kate that's unfair."
"You have to answer, your rules."
"Okay well, until I left college I had… umm…I had blonde hair, I only ever wore pink, and I was a… a cheerleader, head cheerleader."
"O my Gosh Abby!" Kate said as she fell backwards on the floor and started laughing.
"Shut up Kate, it's your turn now." After Kate recovered she sat up slowly.
"Umm okay truth."
"What's your MOAS?"
"You can't repeat a question!"
"I can the only rule is you have to answer, so what's your MOAS?"
"Well ummm, do I really have to?"
"YES!"
"ivefalleninlovewithtony." Kate mumbled.
"What?"
"I've fallen in love with Tony. You happy now?"
"Kate, you have to tell him!" Abby said.
"No, I can't, I won't and you're not allowed to tell him either, it's my MOAS!"
"But Kate…" Abby whined.
"No!" Kate said firmly.
"Fine!" Abby sulked.
End of flash back
"Well what was it?" Tony asked Abby.
"Huh?" Abby said coming out of her daze.
"What was Kate's MOAS?"
"She, well Tony, Kate was in love with you." Tony just stood there shocked before quickly walking out the door.
Tony walked to the garage and drove to the cemetery. He fell onto his knees at Kate's grave.
"Kate, if only you'd told me, if only I knew. Maybe things would've been different." Tony told Kate as tears rolled down his face. "You want to know what my MOAS is? Not that It'll make to much difference now but I loved you Kate, I still do." Tony sighed. This was not how it was meant to be. Maybe if they had a little more time it could've all worked out.
