Insult

When it comes to Shou, he had a bit of trouble defending himself. When people made fun of him, he would hide his face. His aniki would be the one to cover for him. He would protect him, always. Shou was used to the bullying and the teasing. He was used to being called useless. He was even used to being called nothing compared to his brother. He minded, but he never said anything.

"Did you hear? Manjoume ran away," one boy laughed.

Another one chuckled, "Seriously? All from losing to that Misawa kid? That's pathetic."

"We don't need him anyway," the other smirked. "He was always a bad duelist. He deserves everything he gets."

Shou's eyes widened. They were talking about Manjoume. Anger spread in his stomach as he turned to them, eyes holding nothing but fury, "Is that so? I would expect no less from the people who followed him around before he lost. He was like a God to you, wasn't he?"

The two boys turned to him, surprised he even bothered to speak. One sneered, "We only followed him around because he was rich."

"You were his friend," Shou whispered. "Manjoume is not pathetic!"

"Then why did he leave?" he continued to smirk.

"He's finding himself," Shou whispered. "I don't know where he is or what he's doing, but he's doing something to help himself become a better duelist. Manjoume would not give up that easily!"

"How do you even know him so well?" one asked. "We've known him since middle school. We know what he's like."

"So do I," Shou whispered. "I've seen him duel. He craves to win. Because he does, he won't quit like that. I know it."

And he did believe it. He didn't know if it was true or not, but it was just a feeling inside of him. Manjoume would not quit. Shou wasn't sure why he was being so defensive, but he knew he was doing the right thing. He knew that no one should make fun of Manjoume. Because Manjoume was a good duelist.
