Hm...Well, this started out as me randomly typing after i had finished reading leafygirl's wonderful Loophole. It's an ItaSaku story that i really loved, even though i don't support the pairing very much. I was in a daze of "finished a 40 some-odd-chapter story in 2 days" and I had my word doc. for Babies Ch. 2 open. I glanced back to the screen to see this. A whole conversation going, right in the middle of my work. It's sorta cool though, to read a daydream : )

Here's what i think this is: I think Sakura is the first voice, and maybe Itachi's the second. When i was re-writing out the awkward sounding parts, i was inspired by how Itachi always seemed to say the bare minimum (in leafygirl's story), while Sakura was the one who did most of the "emotionaly verbal" comunication between the two. I think this is a poem, but it's almost more like a dialoge...maybe i'll flesh it out sometime. Hey, you never know; Babies was that way too.

The Setting: Itachi just came back, after leaving without a word. Sakura blurts out the first thing she can think of, "conversation" follows.

Without further ado, here's the poem:

Sakura & Itachi

I loved you.

I realized

You went away.

True.

You didn't tell me.

Really?

It tore me apart.

Why?

I thought I'd done something.

You didn't.

I wanted you back.

Indeed?

And now— here you are.

Undeniably.

But you're still far away.

Explain.

Why won't you talk to me?

Aren't I?

You're not really speaking.

If you say so.

You're leaving again, aren't you?

Perhaps.

Will you take me with you?

I won't.

Can I follow behind you?

I doubt it.

Is it really that far?

It is.

Can I say one last thing?

Go ahead.

I think I still love you.

Be my guest.

Hm...now that i'm reading this again, I realize it could be anyone, not just those two... I wonder if it's ok to post? o.0 Oh yeah: Sorry for the weird format as well. I blame sleep-deprevation.
