CHAPTER 1: THE BEGINNING OF THE BEGINNING
Once upon a time, there was a silly boy who went by the name Dough?. He was quite laid back, and was usually never mad. This is his story of his adventure in Sinnoh.
After meeting up with his good friend Bread!, they headed to Route 201. While there, with Bread! Trying to run into the tall grass, Professor Rowan appears. He states that you should not run into the tall grass, unless with a Pokémon.
"Could we have one?" Says Dough?
Professor Rowan nods, with his trustworthy assistant Dawn holding his briefcase.
"You forgot this Professor." She says.
Rowan opens the case and tells the two to choose a ball.
Dough? chooses the leftmost one, while Bread! takes the middle one. Professor then walks away with Dawn.
"Hey! Dough?! Let's battle with our Pokémon!" Bread! exclaims.
They send out our Pokémon with glee, and see their starters.
Dough? has a Turtwig, and Bread! has a Chimchar. Dough commands the Turtwig to fight.
"Use tackle!" he says.
"Go for a Leer." says Bread!.
After about 6 turns of the same commands, the Turtwig remains victorious! Bread! sets off to Sandgem after he says good game to Dough?.
Later at Dough?'s house, his mother says that she is happy that he has a new partner. Suddenly when she is fantasizing a wonderful bond with him and the green turtle, Bread!'s mom come in, asking where her son is like a worrywart.
"He went over to Sandgem Town with his Chimchar." Dough? claims.
She gives me a map and tells Dough? to follow him. His mother gives him a journal, and wishes him luck. The boy and his Turtwig head off to a great adventure…
