A/N: Another slash, you say? Well, I'm on a roll. Hopefully you'll get this, I think it may be a little confusing. I also made up a few of these (I'm sure you'll be able to tell which ones) to make it more Sirius/Remusy. Mainly fluff, and I think it's so cute!
Disclaimer: The, uh, 'lyrics' used here are Shakespeare's. Or whoever owns them nowadays. And no I don't own Harry Potter, because obviously there would be a few more (better) couples if I did.
Shakespeare
"How long are we going to be here?" Sirius moaned, tapping his hands on the library table impatiently.
"Until I'm finished," Remus said, not looking up from his textbook. James and Sirius groaned.
"But it's boring! I can't imagine why anyone would like it here," whined Sirius. "It's too quiet, and full of prats, and-" he stopped when he saw Remus's face.
"That's rude. Perhaps someone deserves a cold shoulder."
"I'm sorry, I wont insult the library again." Sirius said; when Remus said nothing he added, "Apology accepted?"
"No," said Remus, putting down his book.
"I'll buy you thirty chocolate frog cards?"
"Nope."
"I'll kneel down and ask of thee forgiveness," Sirius begged.
"You know Shakespeare?" Remus asked, suddenly looking up. He looked so astonished it was insulting.
"Maybe a little," Sirius admitted, blushing. James had burst out laughing, which earned him a glare from Madame Pince. He hid his laugh behind a fist, and Sirius aimed a kick at him under the table.
Remus was looking at Sirius, his expression unfathomable. "Let's try this out," he said as he scooted his chair in. "Romeo, Romeo, why for art thou Romeo?"
"Oh! I am fortune's fool!" replied Sirius, and James started cracking up again.
"That which we call a rose by any other name would smell
as sweet."
"Ah, but lust before love is how I'd be, for love would never accept me."
"But what is one without the other? And is that not love?"
"All that glisters is not gold."
"Journeys end in lovers meeting," Remus encouraged.
"So wise so young, they say do never live long," accused Sirius.
"The lady doth protest to much, methinks."
"Though this is be madness, yet there is method in it."
"I have no other but a woman's reason."
"Be not afraid of greatness," said Sirius with a wry smile.
"Off with his head!" Remus shot back – James actually seemed familiar with this one, although Sirius doubted he knew what was happening.
"The quality of mercy is not strained," Sirius said, waving his hand casually.
"He's mad that trusts in the tameness of a wolf," tempted Remus, and he raised an eyebrow.
Sirius pretended to look horrified.
Remus laughed and said, "Oh, what men dare do!"
"Beware, my lord, of jealousy, for –"
"I am not jealous!" exclaimed Remus. Sirius only smirked, and Remus blushed. He was right, they weren't just streaming off random lines, and if you used your imagination, well…
Sirius's smirk softened into a smile, and Remus smiled back – his smile, so shy, gave Sirius a melting feeling.
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind…thought Remus… but Sirius's eyes, his mouth, his collar bone, his hair, – effortlessly perfect – they all helped, too.
The two boys looked at each other, searching through the other's eyes, until they each found what they wanted. Sirius leaned back in his chair, grinning. Remus sighed happily.
"What?" exclaimed James incredulously. He always felt like he was missing something when he was with them….
