She knew she shouldn't.

If Andy had learned anything from her two year long relationship with Miranda Priestly it was that despite being the exception to most of her girlfriend's rules, there was one rule from which no one was exempt.

While most would receive an icy glare, cutting words or banishment for arriving five minutes late, shortening her name or anything else on the never ending list of actions that irritated the fashion maven, those same offences when committed by Andy could be overlooked, or even treasured. But not one single person, regardless of status in Miranda's life, was allowed to tease her.

This is why she knew, as she watched that delicious body seduce her while slinking out of the most fashionable of clothes, that she should not have laughed.

In her defence, it was entirely out of her control. However, Andy knew that this defence would not stand up when the slowly reddening goddess before her managed to control her anger in order to calmly rip her to shreds.

"Andrea what, may I ask, is so amusing?"

It had taken at least a year before that tone of voice had stopped causing her to shrink back into herself, but that didn't mean the brunette was any less affected, just better at hiding it. Through her terror she aimed to play temptress to her enraged dragon.

"It's nothing baby, I'm sorry." A flutter of eyelashes and a slow steady smirk might just defuse the situation. "C'mere, I'll make it up to you."

As her queen took a step towards her, towards their bed where Andy had settled down to watch an incredibly arousing show, she was sure she had won.

"No, no; something was obviously just too comical for you to contain, despite my state of undress, so please do enlighten me."

Andy's powers of seduction obviously weren't quite as adept as she thought.

"It was actually due to your current state of undress."

'Shit! She actually might murder me.'

"No! No, no, no. Mira, that's not what I meant, what I mean is…"

"Oh do hurry up!"

Her words flew out in a hurried stream.

"Well has it ever occurred to you how ironic it is that your life is dedicated to promoting the beauty of clothing and yet you look at your most breath-taking when you aren't wearing a stitch?"

Miranda tilted her head, her eyes narrowed; it was the moment of truth.

"Good save."

Miranda was smiling and crawling on top of her; Andy could breathe again.

"Now lie back. I intend to make sure that you are unable find anything amusing for quite sometime."
