It was the most dangerous thing he'd ever seen, and yet sometimes, when the sun hit it just right and made it sparkle, it was also one of the most beautiful things Ezra had ever seen. It could mean so many things at once. He could always tell how his day would go with just one look at it. One morning, he was just awakening when a commotion lured him outside to where his "brothers" were already joined in staring down an entire posse of men. Chris smiled; Ezra knew it was going to be a fun day.
