A/N: Hey Guys! This is my first Fanfiction, so reviews would be super nice and helpful! Also, this story takes place in Minnesota, and BTR doesn't exist. PLEASE REVIEW! Yes, it's a slash between LOGAN AND KENDALL. Yup, HUGE KOGAN FAN. Don't like don't read, ok? I would love love love to hear what you guys think about this! This is also kind of base on the song "Won't give up" by Jason Mraz. LOVE THIS SONG. Its so amazing! Go listen to it if you havn't! It'll be 'written' by Kendall in the fic though :P

It was 9:30 PM at the Kendall's out. A storm was about to brew. The Clouds were an ominous grey, and the sky looked like it was going to rage any minute. Kendall was on his couch, watching Sunday cartoons; a typical Sunday morning for him. He was waiting for James. They had something important to discuss. The door bell rang. Kendall got up, expecting James and his cocky grin. But, as the door opened, another visitor stepped in. Everything went south from there.

Logan Mitchell stood in front of Kendall Knight, their eyes locked. Neither one said a thing; tears sliding down both their cheeks. Without a word, Logan twirled on the ball of a foot, and walked out the door. Not looking back.
Kendall crashed onto the couch, tears flowing rapidly. Logan had called it quits. He just straight up ended it. Logan believed that Kendall was cheating on him. You see, tomorrow was Kendall's and Logan One year anniversary. Kendall was struggling on what to get the dashing brunette boy, and turned to James for help. James had always been the king of love in their small circle of friends; the group consisted of him, Logan, and Carlos. James eagerly agreed to help Kendall, because he loved Logan and Kendall dearly. He could tell from the minute they met, there was a special bond between the two friends. James had also pushed Kendall to tell Logan his growing feelings for him; which of course, resulted in the two starting relationship. Yup, he was the King of love.
Since Kendall had started spending so much time with James, Logan began to feel a sense of jealousy and suspicion. He knew the two had always been close friends, even as kids. He respected their friendship, but couldn't understand why they were spending SO much time together, especially since their one year anniversary was approaching. Sometimes, Logan would ask to join them during their trips to who knows where, but they would almost always reply with some excuse, and leave him alone. They even started to avoid him as the anniversary was days away. That's when he knew something was up with the two, and came to conclusion that Kendall was cheating on him. And there was no way he was going to be able to celebrate his anniversary with a cheater. He had to end it. No matter how much it hurt.
Kendall by no chance was cheating on Logan. Anything but. James had came up with the brilliant idea of writing a song for Logan, which Kendall thought was perfect for Logan. Kendall was a whiz at writing songs, by far the best out of his friends. He decided to have James help, because he needed to make this song perfect. For Logan. Who was the most perfect person Kendall had ever met. He loved Logan to death, and needed to tell him this through his song. An "I love you" hadn't been exchanged between the love birds yet, but that was about to change.
Kendall spent hours, days, and weeks trying to work on this song. But for some reason, nothing seemed to work. The melody was off, or their lyrics wouldn't express what he wanted them too. The more he struggled, the more he turned to James. The pretty boy kept trying to help the blonde, but it was futile. The song just wouldn't work. James brought Kendall to places him and Logan loved, but still, no lyrics would come. It was hopeless. As the celebration approached, Kendall began to panic. He needed to finish this. Somehow. He was going to spend the entire Sunday with James, and write that song. Even if it killed him.
Kendall quickly dialed James's number, counting the number of rings before the pretty boy picked up.
"Hello?" James answered.
"James, please get her fast. Everything's a mess." Kendall said through sobs, trying to control his breathing.
"woah woah, what happened buddy? Are you ok? Why are you crying?"
"I'll explain everything, just get here quick. oK?"
"On my way."
The phone clicked, which left Kendall alone on the couch. All he was thinking was, how could have this happened? Why did it happen? Was the god testing him? He just couldn't wrap his head around what happened.
Fight Flashback
"I know your cheating on me, you and James. Can't believe either one of you would do that, especially you. We're done Kendall. Forget about our anniversary. I can't deal with a cheater; I don't want to get hurt. I Can't believe you would do such cruel thing to me, you heartless monster. AND WITH ONE OF MY BEST FRIEND? That's low. I'm so done with all the sneaking around and cheating. Good bye Kendall." Logan harshly spat.
Kendall was at a lost for words. He couldn't speak. How could Logan even get the slightest idea of him and James a couple? THEY'RE BEST FRIENDS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. It was absurd in his mind. But the thing that hurt the most was, that Logan thought he would ever do that. And that he called him a heartless monster. He never, EVER, wanted to hurt Logan, especially like this. He didn't know what to say, and couldn't say a thing. His mouth felt dry, and a lump was slowly rising up his throat.
They just stared into each other's eyes for a good minute and a half, before Logan turned on the ball of his foot at walked out the door.
Flashback ends
Kendall starts blankly at the window, waiting for James to appear at this door. As soon as the door bell rang, Rushed to the door, and fell into his embrace, and sobbed into his shoulder. He was so glad to have a friend like James, especially right now.
Kendall explained the entire story to James, not leaving out anything. After discussion about the situation, Kendall decided he was going to make things right. And, had the perfect song for Logan. They quickly ran upstairs, and got to work.
He was doing this for Logan. His Logan. Cause he would be lost without him.

It was Monday, around 12:30 am when he and James had completed the song. It was perfect in Kendall's opinion. But that didn't matter, as long it was perfect to Logan. The blonde that he couldn't wait til later to sing this to the nerdy brunette, and couldn't bare staying away from him so long while they were angry at each other. James agreed to go, Kendall had offered to let him get his beauty sleep, but James wasn't sure what the outcome would be between Logan and Kendall. Even with the romantic song, James knew Logan could hold a grudge. He believed that he would accept Kendall Back, but wasn't going to take any chances.
They arrived at Logan's house around 1:00 am. Thankfully, Logan's bedroom was on the lower side of the house, and so the fearless blonde was able to climb on the pretty boy's back and tap on his window. After about 5 minutes of rapid taping, Logan appeared at the window. And was pretty bewildered about what he saw. Being stubborn and holding his grudge, he closed the curtain and climbed back into bed. But, Kendall being equally as stubborn, kept up the taping. Finally, after about 10 minutes of taping, Logan got up, opened the window, and gave Kendall a chance to explain.
"What do you want?" Logan hissed.
"To show you how much I care about you, and that I'm not cheating on you." the blonde replied, hoping the stubborn brunette will give him a chance.
The Brunette contemplated his options, and almost slammed the window closed, but Kendall managed to squeeze in,
"Just give me 5 minutes. That's all. Then I promise, PROMISE to leave you alone if you want me to."
"Fine. 5 Minutes. Then you leave. "
"K, James, let me down."
"Oh, so James is here. Why should I bother listening?" the brunette snarled.
"Cause you promised. Now please listen".
Kendall started strumming his acoustic guitar, and softly started humming before beginning the song.

Logan and Kendall's eyes locked. Everything seemed to disappear around them; like it was just them in the entire universe.

Logan began to get teary eyed. He couldn't believe that Kendall had written him such a beautiful song, especially after the way he treated him. The song was just so amazing, just like Kendall.
I won't give up on us (no I'm not giving up)

We've got a lot to learn (we're alive, we are loved)
God knows we're worth it (and we're worth it)

Kendall strummed a few last notes, before putting his guitar down. By then, Logan had tears streaming down his cheeks. He signaled a one second sign before disappearing from the window. Kendall patiently waited; he honestly didn't know what Logan was going to say. He heard a door open, that smash shut, and saw a figure running directly at him. He ran up to Kendall, embracing him in a loving hug.
"Logan, I promise I wasn't cheating on you. The only reason I was hanging out with James was because I was trying to write you the perfect song for our anniversary. Because Logan…" Kendall started.
Kendall inhaled, before saying "because Logan, I love you. With all my heart. I never want to let you go. You mean the world to me. And I love you I love you I love you." Kendall beamed.
"You love me? I love you too Kendall. SO much, it's crazy. I'm so sorry about assuming you were cheating; it just hurt so much. I couldn't handle it. So, will you please take me back? Logan pleaded, looking into Kendall's green orbs.
"Of course, cause I love you." the blonde answered with a smile.
"ok ok, this is really cute and all, but it's like 1:30 in the morning and I LOVE my beauty sleep. I need to get home love birds, sorry. Can you continue this tomorrow? Thanks, it would mean the world." James said with a chuckle.
The Couple laughed, and decided to let James get his sleep.
"Happy anniversary, Logie. I Love you."
"Happy Aniversary, Kendall. Love you too."
With that, they shared a single kiss on the lips, nothing too long, but enough to express how much love they had for each other.
That short little moment; the I love yous and kiss, made everything they went through worth it.
