The Fateful Night of Four

.

Traitorous, traitorous, what good am I?

Alone in the world wondering why

The rat, the rat must not go free

The rat went free because of me

If only, if only to reset time

Who cares for me, he must not die

To try, to try to keep them safe

To lose control--what a disgrace

.
The grass, the grass, it whips at me

Here I am and here I'll be

To run, to run I must not lose

To the forest I must move

To rest, to rest and above all regret

In the form of a stag I am a savior and I must not let

The dementors the dementors they are here

But alas, I am too weak to care

.

.
Disclaimer: I don't own dementors, Harry Potter or anything of the like.

A/N: Please review!! I would be very interested to hear your take on the poem. I'm not sure if it's too confusing or the right amount of confusing...
