Summary: Governor Swann laments yet another loss from Barbossa's attack on Port Royal.
Author's Note: The bust referred to in this drabble was in fact in the movie. When Elizabeth is running from Pintel and Ragetti, down the stairs, a cannonball shoots into the room and takes out a pirate with his arms full of treasure. To the pirate's left is a bust that falls over from the impact of the shot; that's it.

Governor Swann arrived home, or what was left of it, after his meeting with Commodore Norrington to plan how to find Elizabeth. He was lost in thought as he stepped through the door, wondering if he was making the right and responsible decision by insisting on searching with the commodore. James had tried to convince him to stay in Port Royal, claiming that the citizens needed him, but Weatherby had made the decision (probably a selfish one) that his daughter needed him more.
He looked around and surveyed the damage in the entryway. The chandelier was smashed to pieces on the ground, debris from floor tiles and ceiling panels littered the floor. And what was this? No! The bust of his father, one of the few remaining belongings of his parents that he has brought with him on the voyage to the Caribbean, was lying on the floor. It had been knocked over it looked like, and the head had been broken off of the shoulders. The Governor was livid. First, they had taken his only daughter, now they had destroyed one of the last remains of his childhood memories. Governor Weatherby Swann, the authority of all Jamaica, couldn't wait to get his hands on these pirates. He'd show them what it meant to anger a Swann!
