A Sonnet For Chibiusa

This is a little poem I wrote about Chibiusa breaking away from the chains of Black Lady. She needs to let go of the world, and touch the sun.

Let go of the world,

Let go of the love,

Now spread your wings

And fly above

Let go of the hate

Let go of lies

And sing to the heavens,

Sing to the skies

Let go of your woe

Let go of the sin

Run from yourself

To be with your kin

Let go of ignorance

Let go of regret

Now close your eyes

And you will forget

Let go of temptation

Let go of the sorrow

Drift into sleep

And wait for tomorrow

Let go of your fear

Let go of the chains

I will save your soul

And rid you of your pains

Let go of the shadow

Let go of the spite

Fly through the fog

And into the light

Follow the sound of

The fellow senshi's song

I know what it's like

To be lost for so long

Now spread your wings

And prepare to fly

Do not look back

And please don't cry

I'm here for you

I'm here to stay

Worry not, Moon Child

For it is your day
