The small girl ran up to her brother. "Hey, nii-san! Come with me to talk to Bunpuku!" She launched herself into his arms, knowing full well that he could hold her. The boy frowned and let her down. "You know I have to help father."
The girl sighed. "Kazehiko, not everything is about work. Have some fun for a change!" The elder brother snorted. "I don't see how talking to a senile old man is very much fun." The younger sister glared at Kazehiko. "You don't need to be rude! Fine, I'll go without you."
She stalked off. "Wait, Ginchi! Ugh." He hung his head, and walked to the Kazekage's office.
Ginchi was headed to the dungeons on the outskirts of the villiage. There she was admitted by the guards, and she met her all-time friend. Bunpuku was sitting peacefully as he always does, and there was food in front of him.
Ginchi ran up to him. "Bunpuku!" She stopped in front of him, immediately pointing at the food. "That was from this morning! You should eat, it keeps up your strength!" Bunpuku looked up, and smiled. "Ah, Ginchi, my friend. I do not need to eat, just rest."
Ginchi frowned. She didn't like the way he was talking. "What do you mean, rest? You can't." Bunpuku stood, and beckoned to Ginchi. "I believe it's time for me to pass on the Shukaku to someone else. I will die tonight."
Ginchi gasped, her eyes tearing up. "N-no! You're my friend! You can't..." She trailed off, sniffling. Bunpuku put his large hands on her shoulders, and she felt the grooves of the kanjis seared into his skin. Just like her own. Accept and heart.
"Do not fret, my friend. For I will be with you forever." The guards came in and escorted her out as she cried and cried for her friend as she saw him for the last time.
She went into her room and fell down on her bed. She ripped off her white cloth that covered her left eye socket. Soon after Kazehiko and their father came in. The Kazekage was a assertive man, but he also knew how to be a father. He went to Ginchi's bed and sat down beside her.
"I see you have been informed of what we must do tonight." His voice was rough, but his tone was kind. He brought his daughter up and she wrapped her arms around him. "I don't want him to die. I know it has to be done, but can't we do something to keep him alive?"
The Kazekage shook his head. "Bunpuku accepted this when he first conjoined with Shukaku. It is impossible to seperate his chakra, and therefore his life, from the beast. You know who will be the new host."
Ginchi looked up miserably. "You." The Kazekage shook his head again. "No, I am unable to as Kazekage. But you are." Ginchi's eye widened and she trembled. Then she looked down and sighed.
"Do what must be done." Kazehiko lurched forawrd. Her tone was submissive, as if she accepted her fate. "You should get some rest before. You won't be able to after the sealing." Thier father was back to Kazekage and he walked out, leaving Ginchi and Kazehiko.
Kazehiko jumped when Ginchi stepped down from the bed. "Could you...just leave for a bit?" She still sounded miserable, like she couldn't care less it he did or not. "O-okay." He conceded and left.
When her brother left Ginchi let the tears flood out and crawled unders her thin covers. 'You'd better be in Shukaku, Bunpuku. Because you said you'd be there until the end.' Soon after, she fell asleep.
Hey, this is a test run. It might be a while before I upload and a while before any romance. But I guarantee you there will be lots. I hope you enjoyed.
Stay Awesome!
