This is my first time in the Teen Titans archive, because I'm normally in the Lab Rats archive.

This is pretty short, but I think it's pretty good for my first Teen Titans fanfic.

I've been watching all the episodes, I'm up to season 2 so far, and I really love the show! So far my absolute favorite episode has been Apprentice, and so that's why I'm writing this.

As we were chasing the thief, I couldn't help bit notice he seemed familiar in some way. Although it was too dark to get a good look at him.

Just the way he moved seemed familiar.

We had finally done it. He was cornered, and we had caught him.

Then he turned around.

When I saw his face I couldn't believe what I saw. I couldn't believe that the boy in front of me had just committed a crime. Just the thought sent shivers down my spine, and his name involuntarily lipped from my mouth.

"Robin."

There he was. Robin. My best friend. The boy I had a crush on...At least I think that's what it's called. A crush? Is that what I feel for him?

When I first came to this planet I wasn't sure if I'd like it here, or if I'd fit in. Robin helped me to see all the wonderful things that this planet has to offer. Earth is filled with beautiful sights and amazing people...One in particular is really amazing.

Or, at least, he was. The Robin standing before me is not the one I fell in love with. Is that what it's called? Love?

Why did he just disappear like that? Why would he need a thermal blaster, and why would he steal it?

"Robin, why are you-?" I'm cut off as he throws one of his electric disks at me, and it explodes before me, causing me to fall to the ground.

Did he just? Why would he do that? Ever since I've known Robin, he's only ever tried to protect me. He's never hurt me, and he never would...Right?

I look a little closer and see something wrong with his outfit that I didn't notice before. First of all, it's the wrong colors, and second there's an S where the R should be...He's working with Slade?

Why? He's the one who was obsessed with defeating him, and now he's helping him?

Just a few weeks ago he was upset because Slade almost hurt me; he was determined to make sure it never happened again. And now he's the one trying to hurt me.

Me, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy all try to run towards him, but he uses the thermal blaster to blast a hole in the bridge between us.

The last thing I see is his shadow beyond the smoke before that too disappears.

He's gone. The only boy I've ever loved is gone for good. I'll never see my Robin again.

Because, in that moment, I knew it was true...I just didn't want to believe it.
