Naruto squinted his eyes from the noise.
"Geez, the bugs sure are loud tonight." He looked over beside Shino, who was sitting beside him in the grass. The sun had set long past and the bugs were chirping non-stop.
Shino shifted slighted, bringing his finger to point towards nothing in particular, one of his chakra bugs crawling to the tip of his finger.
"They're frightened of them." He said bluntly. Naruto looked over at him curiously.
"Can't you make them send some sort of signal? Like "We come in peace, we mean no harm?" He questioned tilting his head, his two fingers held in a peace sign.
Shino tilted his head. "I can try." Within seconds the bugs hushed tremendously and Naruto graced Shino with a smile.
Hooking his index finger around Shino's glasses he pulled them off. And Shino could've sworn when Naruto smiled the bugs hushed even more.
