This will be the last story for a while. Thank you to all those who have read my stories, reviewed them, and have enjoyed them. I'll be back one day, maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months, but I'll return...I still have too many stories left for you guys to read.
So as this final story says, "Wait for me," 'coz I'll be back. ^^
Until then,

The sun had begun its leaving, creating the shades of purple and red in the sky.
The two watched the sun set in silence on top of their hill, Temari seated on Shikamaru's lap.
"A beautiful view, isn't it?" she said.
Shikamaru brought her closer, her back on his chest. "Yeah."
He smirked. "Too bad your stupid hair gets in the way of it all though."
She elbowed him. "Too bad."
He groaned a bit, but smiled. "I'm sorry. Your lovely hair gets in the way."
She leaned back. "Better."
As the sun disappeared for the night, Temari turned around, giving him a kiss.
"Why does it have to be so long?"
"I'll only be gone a few weeks."
"You can't take care of yourself for that long, I should be going with you."
He gave her a kiss on the neck, a way to try to loosen her up.
"You know that I don't need you there. If anything you'll only become a burden."
"A burden? Who do you think saved your ass from death multiple times, huh?"
Shikamaru laughed. "Yeah, woman. Don't rub it in."
He put his arms around her and rested them on her belly. "It's just that it's no longer me you'd be protecting out there."
He lightly stroked her stomach. "It's her."
Temari's hands went on top of Shikamaru's and they sat in silence.
"I know," she whispered.
Shikamaru got up, moving her off his lap. "Tell you what, woman," he began standing up. "I promise you that I'll be back in a month's time, and I want you to do something."
She looked up. "What?"
"Wait for me. Right here on this hill, in a month's time and I'll be seeing you then."
She smiled and stood up. "Alright, I'll be here, waiting."
He smirked. "Promise?"
She leaned forward and they kissed.
"Promise."
She stood on the hill, watching the horizon.
She had been waiting there for over an hour, staring blankly at the view in front of her.
The sun had risen only recently, and the day had only begun.
Crying began from her arms. She looked down and cradled what she held.
"Shh, its ok," she whispered, uncovering the babies face.
"We're just waiting for daddy," she said, knowing that he would never come.
A tear came from her eye. "We're just waiting for him."
End.
