Ok, this is how it works. I write, and if nobody reads it (that means, no reviews), this story goes to my good old recycle bin, and we're on to something different.

Hard Destiny
CHAPTER 1
Message
Sixteen-year-old Takeru looked out of the window. He was sitting in class but he couldn't keep his attention to the teacher. He didn't know why but he felt that there were unpleasant times coming up. Suddenly he got kicked against his legs and he turned his attention back to the teacher who was calling his name.
"Takeru Takashi! Please pay attention." The teacher said.
"Yes ma'am" T.K. gave a small poke to Kari, who was sitting next to him, to show his thanks. He didn't want to have trouble so he was glad his best friend helped him. T.K. almost cheered when it was lunch break and he hurried to his favorite bench outside. Five minutes later Kari also came with Yolei and Cody and they greeted each other.
"T.K. you really should pay attention in the class else you will be in trouble" Kari said with a mother like tone in her voice. Yolei giggled and Cody smiled.
"Sorry Kari but I can't concentrate today" T.K. whined. Everyone could see he wasn't joking and that he really had something on his mind.
"How come?" Cody asked.
"I don't know" T.K. answered "but I feel weird, well not really weird but I feel like something is going to happen."
They silently ate there food and talked a bit about common things. The bell ringed and the classes were going to start again.
"Let's hurry up the classes are going to start soon" Kari screamed while running back to class. Yolei and Cody soon followed her to the entrance and T.K. just sighed and also followed them.
When school was finished T.K. silently walked through the streets back to home. He was thinking about the feeling he had the whole day. "I just can't shake it off" He said in himself. Still in thought he entered his house he looked around and saw that nobody was home suddenly he remembered that his mother's holiday was over and that she was back to work again. He sighed relieved because his mother had the weird ability to sense even the slightest feeling from him and sometimes he was annoyed by that.
He walked to the fridge and took a coke out of it and walked to his computer. While reading his email he saw that he got one from Nina, a good friend of his, and started to read it. She asked if she could visit him in two weeks. "That's great. I haven't seen Nina in eight months I wonder how she looks." T.K. thought. "I will just reply that it is alright, my mother is working those weeks so she shouldn't mind; besides she knows Nina so it shouldn't be a problem."
T.K. was about to go and read some book when he realized he still had homework to do. The teacher had given the assignment to write an essay about Romeo and Juliet and as he was pretty good in writing he wasn't that worried and began writing he was done in one hour with his whole essay. After a pretty normal evening he went to bed.

"T.K. was acting weird today" Kari thought "something is really bothering him and even he doesn't know what it was."
Kari tried to focus on her essay about Romeo and Juliet but it wasn't really going good she was already busy for more than one hour. "I wish T.K. was here to help me he is better at writing then me."
"Ahhh this isn't going to work" Kari screamed.
"What isn't Kari?" Her brother asked while peeking his head around the corner.
"I have to write a stupid essay about the love of Romeo and Juliet but I can't get on paper." Kari looked frustrated.
"Do you want me to help you?" Tai asked.
"What do you know about Romeo and Juliet!?" Kari whined.
"Well I have had the same classes as you so I have done that assignment too and for once I got a good mark" Tai told her.
"Ok! If you can help then help me" Kari looked happy now she had someone to help her.
After one more hour they had finished the essay and Kari hugged her brother for helping her out. "I got it done! With a bit of help but nobody has to know that" Kari thought in herself. She followed Tai to watch some TV.

Beep! Beep! Beep! T.K. opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling. "Think I will take a shower before I go to eat my breakfast" He went to the bathroom and took a shower.
"Good morning Takeru" His mother said while preparing breakfast. She actually made more time these years to make breakfast for him. She even learned how to cook and likes cooking now she doesn't messes up the food.
"Good morning mom" T.K. said and looked at his traditional breakfast cornflakes and milk. "What do I like milk!" T.K. thought.
"Honey I'm a bit late tonight so can you cook dinner?" His mother asked him.
"Yeah sure. What do you want?" T.K. asked still a bit sleepy.
"You can choose."
"Alright I will make something good then." T.K. began to eat when he remembered something. "Hey mom, Nina is coming over in two weeks. I said it was ok if it's fine with you"
"Nina? I haven't seen her in years! So yeah it's fine by me" T.K. was smiling.
"How long is she staying T.K.?" His mother asked him.
"I don't know last time I spoke her she said that her idea was to attend school here for a while" T.K. answered.
--Flashback--
"Do you really have to leave?" Nina asked T.K.
"Yeah I need to go home because I have school soon again" T.K. said smiling.
"Next time at my place?" T.K. asked
"Yeah but then I will arrange that I can stay a little while with you" Nina said cheerful.
"How will you do that?" T.K. asked confused
"I will just transfer to your school for a little while that we will see each other the whole day" Nina grinned.
"No please! How would I survive a whole day with you!?" T.K. whined.
"Takeru Takaishi that is rude!" Nina pouted.
T.K. laughed and hugged her while saying his goodbye. "Goodbye Nina take care! And see you next time"
Nina gave T.K. a little kiss on his cheek while they were very good friends and liked each other very much they weren't lovers. "Goodbye T.K." Nina said while a tear came out of her eye.
"Don't be sad Nina we will see each other soon" T.K. smiled and left for his home.
-- Present --
"That would be nice" His mother smiled at him and then she looked at the clock and saw she was late. "I got to hurry" She gave him a kiss and left off to work.
T.K. ate his dinner and left off to go to school.

"Kari! Hurry up in the shower I want to take a shower too and you are taking ages" Tai whined at Kari who was taking a shower.
"Stop whining Tai I'm already done and by the way a girl needs to take time in the shower to look good" She teased Tai.
When Kari left the shower Tai ran into it and yelled "You will never look good even if you stay 4 hours in the shower!"
"Tai that's mean!" Kari yelled. While giggling inside because she knew Tai was only joking and so was she.
She ate her breakfast and went to school.
While on her way to school she saw T.K. walking in front of her.
"T.K.! T.K.! Wait up!" Kari yelled cheerful.
T.K. turned around and saw Kari running up to him. He smiled his big smile and waited for Kari.
"Hey Kari how are you today?" T.K. asked Kari while smiling again at her.
"I'm fine I had some trouble with the Romeo and Juliet assignment but Tai helped me a bit and now I done" Kari explained.
"Tai and romance? Do those two fit together?" T.K. asked her while looking like he was thinking very hard. Kari laughed and T.K. also laughed.
"Yeah...haha...I first thought so too but he was really a big" They had arrived school and went to their classroom. They weren't the first one that arrived but they still had some time left till the class started so they went to their seats.
"Hey T.P. and Kari" Davis screamed.
"It's T.K." T.K. said but he knew it was futile because Davis never got it right.
"Whatever" Davis said "Have I missed much these days?"
"Not really if you made the homework I brought you." Kari said while laughing because she knew he was very bad at making his homework.
"Ahh well then I have finished it all so that shouldn't be a problem then" Davis said proudly.
T.K. and Kari looked at him with surprise and he looked back at them. "You don't believe me?" He asked.
"Then I will make you believe" He took some papers out of his bag and showed it to them. "Well? Well? You believe me now?"
"Good job Davis it looks you finally became smart and you did your homework" The teacher said standing behind him. Davis made a big grin and gave his homework to the teacher and made his way to his seat which was right behind T.K.
"Everyone go sit down please and let me take in your homework" The teacher began her class.
"I'm glad I have Miss Mazora the first in this morning" T.K. thought because he really liked her teaching them English.
The morning past by pretty fast and he didn't get the chance to think about the feeling from the last day.
When it was lunch break they were sitting with each other again.
"Hey Davis you are feeling better?" Yolei asked him because Davis had been ill for a couple of days.
"Yeah I'm totally fine now I got to see Kari again" He said grinning.
"You never give up do you?" Kari asked him not looking at him. Then she heard a laugh and saw Davis was laughing.
"No I will never give up" He said laughing.
It was silent a couple of minutes then T.K. broke the silence.
"In two weeks a good friend of mine is coming to my place. Her name is Nina and I probably told about her once" T.K. said.
"Yeah I remember seeing her picture" Cody said.
"What photo was that again?" Yolei asked Cody.
"You mean this one?" T.K. picked a photo out of his wallet and showed it too Davis and Yolei. Kari had already seen her because he had more pictures of her. Actually T.K. had much pictures on his room about everyone.
"What a cute girl!" Davis drooled.
When Yolei looked at the picture she had to agree that she was cute. She had purple – pink color hair like Mimi has but then a bit darker. She also had green eyes and her body was nicely curved.
T.K. putted the picture back in his wallet. And laughed at the site of a disappointed Davis. "Don't worry in two weeks you will meet her and she will probably stay here for a while and come to school with us"
The bell rang and they had class again. After school they hang around a bit in the park and then went home. T.K. had almost forgotten that he had to cook dinner but he was just on time with dinner when his mother came home.
"Did you have a nice day?" She asked her son.
"Yeah I had a very nice day" T.K. said. And thought "and I didn't feel that feeling from yesterday again."
