The only one to fall
Even if I was so close of her, the little girl wasn't looking at me. I saw she was keeping the balloon high, looking at the window of the building in front of her. What was she doing?
"Hey!" I said, trying to keep her attention ,but she didn't look at me .It seemed like she didn't hear me. Why? I thought.
I went closer to take her and play together. As I was right beside the little girl I took her hand and I switched her to face me. I almost jumped back when I saw the unusually big red eyes turned to me. She scared me. Her white face looked like an old woman's face, with a sharp nose and… fangs? Oh gosh! She… what the hell was she? An ordinary child I was sure she wasn't .
I was about to take my steps back, when that monster kid jumped on me ,putting my body on the ground. I wanted to slap her when she pointed her fangs to my neck and came closer to it. Oh. I closed my eyes ,speaking on my mind. "This… vampire girl wants to eat me."
" I hate all these murderers who think they can hurt people ; even if they are just kids."
I slowly opened my eyes. I saw Ace taking the monster girl of her neck and looking down at her. What was he really doing here?
Oh God, it was a gun in his right arm . And in the next moment I heard the sound of a shot.I took a look around. Thought I was frightened because I almost cried when I saw blood everywhere on the ground.
I turned my gaze to Ace who was coming close to me.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
I closed my eyes , not even wanting to see him. It was disgusting. How could Ace do something like that? Did he know about these creatures?
I nodded. In the next moment I didn't feel my feet on the ground . I opened my eyes, as I started to scream loud.
"What are you doing? Lemme go! Put me down on the ground ,please!"
I saw his sad face while I calmed myself down. He didn't put me on the ground but I didn't bother this time.
"Again. Are you alright ?"
His voice was so calm and cool. I wondered how it could be keeping so nice all the time. I looked into his hazel eyes, thinking. I wasn't angry, being just a little confused on these things.
"Crap!" I said after some seconds. "Off of me! Why am I in you arms?"
"I thought you'll be fine there." Ace answered.
I looked at him. He smirked. Making fun of me again?
"Let go!" I almost screamed.
"Oh you want to dirt your shoes with blood?" he asked me with such a cool voice. Thought I lost my mind. He was too close to me and I'm pretty sure he could hear my heart beating fast. Dammit!
"I can manage." I told him, using my calm voice. I didn't look at him anymore, as I took my steps back to home. But I knew Ace was right behind me and felt a shiver on my neck. Then I turned to face him.
" Why are you fallowing me?" I asked.
Then, it wasn't any answer.
"Since when do you know about these things?"
I stopped walking. Why didn't he just answer me?
"Talk to me!" I said.
"Your father will be worried. Let's talk tonight, now I have something to do."
Before I could say something he went away and I didn't see him anymore. It was really an weird thing.
What did just happen?
