Never talk to the coal tar.

Yukio was about to leave the hospital for the day when a nurse came running down the hall.

"Mr. Okumura, we have a problem and we need your help." She said panting.

'Grate, this has to happen right when I was about to go on vacation' Yukio though bitterly to himself. He nodded to the nurse and walk back to the floor where he worked, knowing his luck it was just some teen trying to kill himself again. Yukio worked on the floor were most of the crazies were, so he was used to being called in a lot. They walk by the waiting room and he saw his father.

"Sorry dad, I can't come home yet." He said walking up to his foster father. Shiro Fujimoto sometimes picks Yukio up after work.

"Yukio don't you know?" Shiro asked, looking like he could really go for a smoke.

"What?" Yukio asked ignoring the nurse, who was trying to get him to see his new patient.

"Rin's here, He's on this floor."

A few minutes later Shiro and Yukio were at Rin's room. They finally got him calmed down and he was sleeping peacefully. He was hooked up to an IV and had a few bandages on his arms.

"What happed?" Yukio asked Shiro as they sat down. The old man sighed and ran a hand throw his white hair.

"It all started an hour ago, I heard some screaming and I ran to your brother's room. He was ripping at his arms and throwing things. I tried for fifteen minutes to calm him down, but nothing worked. So I called the hospital and here we are now." Shiro sighed again and looked at his other son.

"Yukio, what's going to happen to him? Is he going to be all right?"

"We want to keep him hear for a few days, give him some pills to see if the will help. And then we can bright him home." Yukio put a hand on Shiro's shoulder. "Its ok dad, Rin will be better in no time."

"But Yukio, what happened to him? Why did he just snap like that?" Shiro watched Rin's chest rise and fall.

"It might have been stress, or maybe a problem with a friend, or maybe it has to do with something he can't control. Who knows?" He said with a shrug. "He is most likely mad at something and that's the only way he could get rid of his anger."

"You may be right there; when you two were just little kids he would often hurt people because he was angry. I thought he grew out of it but… maybe he hasn't."

It was about three in the morning when Rin finally opened his eyes. He looked around trying to figure out where he was.

"Where am I?" He choked out. Damn did he ever need some water.

"You're in a hospital." A male's voice said. Rin looked around for the voice.

"Hospital?" Rin asked. That's when he saw a teenager in a hospital gown was sitting right next to him.

"Yeah, you came here after you freaked about something. Or at least that's what I heard." The teen said. He had green hair and looked like he hadn't slept in years.

"What's your name?" Rin asked siting up. "I'm Rin."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Amaimon" The green hair teen said.

"Hey Rin, can I give you some advice?" Amaimon said tilting his head to the side.

"Sure?"

"Never talk to the coal tar."

"The what?" Rin asked. Amaimon got up from his seat and blew on a window. In the fog he drew a pitcher; this coal tar thing had strange ears, a pointed tail, and HUGE eyes.

"Never talk to it." Amaimon said siting back down.

"Why?" Rin asked. He could fell the mode become darker.

"If you do, you'll never escape. Just like me." His voice and eyes looked dead.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm trapped here forever… or at least in till the coal tar can find someone new to…" Amaimon looked away with a pained look in his eyes.

"O-ok! I promise to never talk to the coal tar!" I held out my baby finger.

Amaimon looked at it and held out his to. When their fingers touched something strange happened. Rin's finger when right though Amaimon's.
