Set during season 5 when Bobby is in the wheel chair…it is very essential to this story.
Castiel likes watching TV! His favourite show he has since discovered after spending much time watching TV is…Family Guy.
One day Dean and Sam went on a hunt with Bobby so they asked Castiel to stay at Bobby's house to look after the place in case of danger. So Castiel was at Bobby's by himself and he was getting bored. He decided to look for something to do. He was walking down a hallway in the house and came across a bedroom where the door was open slightly. His angelic curiosity taking over his somewhat human common courtesy, he opened the door fully to see a bright yellow room covered with posters featuring an animated family and the title "Family Guy." Castiel looked around in wonder and decided that he liked the room. A bed was on the right side of the room with Family Guy pillow cases and a dooner cover. On the left was a television and DVD player. Next to it was a set of DVD's, all Family Guy. He knew what DVD's were and how to use them…even the TV…all thanks to Dean. So he decided to watch the DVD's to rid himself of his boredom.
He was watching an episode in Season 8 when he got an idea…
It had been half an hour since the brother's and Bobby got back from the hunt. Castiel had finished devising his plan.
He walked into the kitchen and saw Sam sitting at the table drinking a beer and using his lap top. Castiel sat down next to Sam and picked up a conveniently placed newspaper and began to 'read' it.
"Hello Sam"
"Hey Cas"
"How was the hunt?"
"Good."
"Good. Oh did you hear?"
"Hear what?"
"Oh…I was under the impression that everyone knew."
"Knew what?"
"So you didn't hear?"
"No Cas…hear what?"
"Well…"
"Hello Bobby" Castiel said walking outside to meet Bobby.
"Hey" Bobby said looking back at the Angel from his wheelchair.
"I found something interesting in the newspaper."
"What is it?"
"So you didn't see it?"
"See what?"
"Well…"
"BOBBY! RUN! GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Sam yelled at Bobby as he ran and began pushing Bobby away from where Castiel was standing.
Now Castiel was very sad.
Castiel sulked into the living room/lounge room. Dean, who was lying on the couch, asked "Cas. You ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"What happened?"
"Sam wouldn't let me show Bobby something."
"What was it?"
"Don't you know?"
"Know what Cas?"
"Well… THE BIRD, BIRD, BIRD, THE BIRD IS THE WORD…DON'T YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BIRD? WELL EVERYBODY KNOW'S THAT THE BIRD IS THE WORD!"
Cas continued to sing and Dance and Dean thought this was the single most sexiest thing he had ever seen. So…Dean jumped Castiel and they…well they…you know…had hot, joyful man sex on the couch and lived happily ever after.
This was the story of how Family Guy became Dean's new favourite TV show.
