The face of love isn't of adoration and joy
It's the tears and pain caused by the one who "loves" you.
The face of love isn't that of pure happiness
It's the sadness that's caused by the one that's happy.
The face of love isn't a long stare into your eyes, holding hands, or kissing in the rain
It's the empty stare, the lonesome hands, and the tears streaming with the rain.
The face of love is a lie
A lie that movies and books taught us was real.
A lie that people want to be true
This is the face of love
