"Coming Home"

I've had some ideas for a short story on my take of a continuation of the Villy reunion. Would anyone be interested in reading it?

Here's a little teaser:

Billy and Victoria arrived at the Chancellor mansion in a few hours. As they made their way to the door Billy's thoughts began to drift. His little girl was home happy and healthy. It made him angry to think of how she needed him and Victor kept him away. He also felt guilty knowing she wanted him and he couldn't be there to reassure her in her time of need. Billy was brought out of his thoughts by Victoria.

"Go on in. I know you must be dying to see her and vice versa" she whispered. He smiled at her as he rang the doorbell.

Esther promptly opened the door and was shocked to see who was standing in the doorway. She smiled as she hugged him with relief and told them to come in. She quickly went and got Chloe. Upon entering the room, she reached out to hug him as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Thank you" she whispered.

As he pulled away he had tears threatening to fall and his voice cracked as he started to speak.

"She's our daughter and she was sick. I'm so sorry I wasn't here to help her and you through this".

"Kevin explained it all it's ok I know now it wasn't your choice to stay away and if"...she got interrupted by another voice.

"Daddy...Daddy ...Daddy" Delia repeated with delight as she ran to her father.

Billy scooped her up in his arms and she laid her hand on his cheek. That was all it took for the threatening tears to fall.

"It really is you!" she exclaimed.

"Hey baby, how's my girl?" he said his voice full of emotion.

"I'm all better. "I'm so glad you are here daddy" Delia said as she wrapped her little arms around his neck and buried her face in his shoulder.

Looking up at Billy, she placed a hand on each cheek.

"I love you daddy".

"I love you too Dee Dee so much. You are daddy's angel and I never want you to forget how much I love you" he finished as a few more tears fell.

He placed a soft kiss on her forehead as Victoria, Katherine, Jill, Esther, and Chloe watched with tears in their eyes.
