'Fine, I'll talk to him.'
" Hi! You're Sakura-Chan right!?" Said the blonde haired boy from class.
"Yes, and you are?' I said back to the blonde-headed boy.
"Naruto! Future Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto now said with a big goofy grin across his face.
"Nice to meet you Naruto." I said.
"Hey, do you want to eat ramen with me? I know a really good ramen place! Ramen's the best!" Naruto said as he pulled me along to the ramen place he was talking about.
"Uh, okay!" I said unsure enough as I was.
Some time later………..
"So, how is your hair pink? I think it's really cool!" Naruto said sweetly.
" Ah, I was just born with pink hair, weird ne?" I said
"No, I think it's really cool!" Naruto said with a grin plastering his face.
"Aa, thank you." I said with giddiness of the fact that I had actually made a good friend so far.
"No problem, I wasn't lying." He said as he winked at the last part.
"……….." I said nothing for I was blushing too hard to talk.
"So do you have siblings? Where do you live? What's your favourite colour? Mine's orange. Do you like the ramen?" Naruto asked.
"Um………" I said trying hard to come up with the answers really quickly.
" I don't have any siblings (That I know of.), I don't live very far from here. My favourite colour is green, sometimes blue. Yes, I like the ramen very much." I squeezed out with a sigh of exhaustion and a genuine smile.
"What about you?" I asked
"Oh! I'm orphan, no siblings. I don't live far from here either! As you know I like the colour orange and I love ramen!" Naruto said pretty fast.
"Oh." I said surprised that such a happy child could be an orphan; well at least I'm not alone in that sense.
'I was about to say 'I'm an orphan too!' But, I remembered my façade.'
"Well, I got to go Sakura-Chan! It was really nice to meet you!" Naruto said as he walked off with a smile and a wave of his hand.
"Bye, Naruto…see you at the academy!" I said waving back and smiling at him as we walked off in different directions.
'Oh yes, this was going to be an interesting year. …………Very interesting indeed.'
