Yasu's darling Layla
Yasu walked to his apartment but he saw a sobbing Reira sitting outside his door. She looked up at Yasu and covered her face with her hat and continued to cry. Yasu put his arm around the sobbing rock star and lead her in the door ay Reira's arms tightened around him and she cried harder.
"I'm sorry Yasu you're the only person I could call…" she sobbed.
Yasu hugged her back.
"What's wrong Reira? "he whispered.
"Takumi said he was getting married… I didn't know what to do so I just ran…when I heard him say that I just didn't want to sing anymore…but since were in the middle of recording and I just decided to stop everyone would be disappointed in me… and with paparazzi I feel like I'm being watched and I knew the only one I could go to is you" she sobbed.
Yasu put his hands on her shoulders pushing her back so he could look at her face.
"I'm sorry Reira but I have to go back to work soon but I'll be back soon stay here and don't open the door for anyone" he ordered.
Reira nodded her head and sat on his bed. Once Yasu shut the door behind him he stood frozen in the hall way.
Layla… he thought sadly as he slowly walked to work.
Reira sat on the floor of Yasu's room and started rummaging threw his CD's until she found the CD with the song My Darling Layla on it. She put it in the CD player on repeat and laid on the bed clutching the CD case to her chest. She sobbed as the music flowed around her and she slowly fell asleep. Once she woke up she saw Yasu staring at her.
"Do you feel better Reira?" he asked brushing the hair from her face.
Reira nodded and sat up.
"I'm sorry for dropping in on you like this" she apologized.
"Its alright don't worry about it" he smiled.
"Hey Yasu….do you still like me?" she blushed.
"Yes" Yasu whispered taking off his sun glasses.
"Really?" she asked shocked.
"When you hang out with Takumi your always sad…you should hang out with me" he smiled.
"You said the same thing to me in high school" she giggled
"Its true" he said then he kissed her. "I love you my darling Layla" he whispered.
"I love you too Yasu…" she blushed.
Then a knock on the door scared them.
"Hey open up its Ren is Reira with you?" Ren called from outside the door.
Yasu opened the door and Reira came out from behind him.
"Hi Ren!" she smiled cheerfully.
"Heh I knew you would be here Reira! Come on Takumi is worried… thanks for taking care of her Baldy see ya!" he waved as he walked down the hall with Reira.
Then Reira turned around and smiled.
"Bye Yasu thanks again! I'll email you!" she smiled.
Yasu waved back and smiled goodbye my darling Layla he thought as she disappeared from his hall way.
Back at the recording studio Takumi was pacing back and forth until Ren and Reira walked in.
"Reira! Where were you? Why did you run away like that?" he yelled.
"I just needed fresh air" she lied.
"I found her with Yasu" Ren said grabbing his guitar.
"Is there something going on between you and Yasu?" Takumi asked.
"What? N-no nothing a-at all just friend!" she blushed.
"Uh-huh" Takumi said rolling his eyes.
"Whaa? Reira you're dating Yasu again?" blurted out Naoki in shock.
"No I'm not!" she blushed.
"Naoki stop upsetting Reira and let her sing" said Takumi pushing her toward the recording booth.
Once inside Reira put on the headphones and started to sing.
"Whoa! I never heard her sing like this" said Ren in shock.
Naoki was at loss of words so he just watched the lovely Reira sing.
"She's happy that's why she sounds different Reira finally found happiness" Takumi smiled.
After Reira stopped singing she looked at Takumi for approval.
"Great job Reira" he smiled.
I'm singing for you…Yasu she thought.
