Life at 300 Fox Way was nothing out of its ordinary chaos. That being; Orla was yapping on the phone, undoubtedly with some beau she'd meet online months prior, Persephone was quietly scribbling away at her novel that she would probably never finish and down stairs in the always crowded kitchen Maura and Calla were having an infamous cook off between whatever buttery and bacony substances the pair could produce. It wasn't until Blue heard the colorful language of Calla burning herself that she decided to go down to the kitchen.

The scene before her was also nothing new. Except that was sitting at the kitchen table, carefully sipping a cup of Maura's herbal disasters. Blue still couldn't get used to the fact that he was living with them now. Sure, he was cordial and had swept Maura off her feet, but Blue couldn't help but still be defensive about her father.

"Good morning, Blue," he said, gently setting his cup down.

"Good morning," she replied. She didn't dislike him, but he wasn't her father. But for her mother's sake, she could certainly try to accept him as a male figure in her life.

"I see you're finally up," Maura said, flipping what ever buttery concoction she had simmering in a pan. Blue glanced at the clock above the oven. It was only 10:30.

"The pretty boy also called earlier," Calla added, placing bacon down on her skillet, "He left a message for you to call him back."

"I would," Blue said, "But Ms. Queen of the Landline is on the phone with one of her tramps." Maura held up a finger.

"She'll be hanging up in three...two.." Maura pointed up as Orla made a final, overly gushy comment to whoever was on the other end of the line.

Blue made a few quick strides across the room to where their second phone in the house perched on the wall. She picked it up and punched in Gansey's number. The phone rang for about three seconds before there was a click and Gansey's voice was on the line.

"Jane?" he asked breathily. Blue couldn't help but smirk, knowing that dork was probably grinning ear to ear just to receive her call. Or that he had been waiting by the phone aimlessly awaiting her call.

"Dick." She retorted. She could physically feel him wince at the use of his first name. He cleared his throat.

"Did Calla tell you I call earlier?" Blue grunted. Sometimes she wondered if he even had a brain in that pretty little head of his.

"No I just used my psychic abilities," she rolled her eyes even though she knew he wouldn't see.

"Ha very funny, Jane,"she could hear the smile in his voice.

"What do you want?" she asked, twirling the phone cord around her finger. This earned her a suggestive look from her cousin which caused her to cease her twirling and give the older girl a deadly look.

"I..we wanted to see if you'd meet us at Nino's later tonight for dinner?" Blue considered for a moment.

"Is Ronan going to be there?" she asked. Gansey sighed. That was a yes. "What time?" she then asked.

"It would be about 7:30. Adam gets off work a little before then," he replied. Blue nodded. "Oh, and Jane?"

"What?"

"Would you come over to Monmouth? Ronan and Noah are doing that thing again where they're throwing shit out the window." Blue stifled a laugh.

"Ok," she replied.

She heard Gansey heave a relieved sigh, "I'm glad you said yes," he said, "Cause I'm kinda already on my way." Blue sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Of course you are," she smiled a small smile to herself, "See you soon." She hung up the phone and went to get her bag.
