Selena sat on her bed, the purple covers wrinkled from her sitting on the. In her lap and spread around her were photos and a leather bound photo album. A tear splashed onto a plastic photo cover as she looked at the next picture.

It was her and Charlie dressed up for the camp half-blood annual dance. That was a year ago. The next photo was him sitting on the beach smiling, his red trunks popping with his dark completion. Oh how she missed his smile.

She looked up to the front door of her cabin. It was currently open, letting the cabin air out from all the perfume. She sighed shakily as her memories took over.

Charlie walked up the stairs to the cabin and leaned gently against the door frame. The sun outside was bright and the clouds were blue, his favorite kind of days.

"Are you coming?" he asked. She looked up from her mirror to stare at him.

"But it's hot, my makeup will smudge and I'll get sweaty" she complained.

"You know you want to come" he said grabbing her hand and pulling her down to the sword arena.

She looked wistfully at that photo. Beckendorf changed her that day, in a good way of course. She was more thoughtful, caring….and a traitor. He would be so ashamed.

"Tomorrow is the siege, do what you can to gain your honor back" she told herself quietly. What she didn't realize was that tomorrow would be the last time she saw those photos. The Draken would kill her the next day and she would go to Elysium.

"Charlie please don't be ashamed of me" was the first thing that came out of Selena's mouth when she arrived to Elysium. There were tears in his golden brown eyes as he enveloped her into a bone crushing hug.

"I could never" were his words as they walked down the side of the lake in Elysium.
