A/N: My theory on why Clone!Sakura dissolved into flower petals in Clone!Syaoran's arms and why that surprised/upset him. Written immediately after that chapter, with no indication of the following chapters . . . was just too lazy to post.
"I . . . love y . . ."
Syaoran . . . the clone . . . Syaoran . . . the creation . . . Syaoran . . . the slave.
"Syaoran-kun?"
No. She was dead. She was dying. No more princess. Just a body to return to Fei Wong Reed, like the good little servant he was.
"Syaoran-kun," the petals whispered. "I was cloned after you . . . and more completely. I have a heart. Take it. Please, take it."
It overcame him then, and suddenly everything hurt. His technical memories were once more fired with emotions. His eyes widened; the stolen blue one burning in its socket and the sword burning in his hand.
Fay-san . . . Sakura-hime . . . he had hurt them . . . Kurogane-san . . . Mokona . . . he had abandoned them . . . Sakura . . . his Sakura . . .
Syaoran knew that she was still alive and that she remembered everything. But Fei Wong Reed had her . . .and would soon have the clone of Sakura too. Kyle was already down below.
Syaoran locked everything away. His actions were unforgivable. He knew that. But leaving his precious Sakura in Fei Wong Reed's hands would be even more so. He utterly despised the boy who was his other . . . who was the real Syaoran. But he did not deserve Sakura. However, he could do things that the heroes could not. His right and wrong were forever skewed.
So, he began using Fay-san's magic to return to his master's side one final time.
This clone had work to do.
The End.
