A persons first kiss was supposed to be one of their most treasured memories.
Girls always went on and on about kissing and marriage and stuff that really didn't mean much to Boyd. He found the whole idea to be too overly romantic. Instead of talking about marriage and making families he'd rather swing his axe around and spar, or eat, or something.
The sudden enlightenment one supposedly gained from their first kiss was a pretty ridiculous notion. How was a kiss supposed to make you more aware of things? Did you siphon part of the other persons brain? It made no sense and led Boyd to believe that all girls were crazy.
So when Mist would talk on and on about the 'magic of the first kiss' with her eyes all cloudy with childish fantasy, Boyd couldn't help but tease her. It was pretty silly for a girl her age to even think like that. Though Boyd figured she'd grow out of it and be more like Titania, who was an awesome warrior, who obviously didn't believe in silly things like magical first kisses.
So Boyd never paid the idea any mind until one afternoon he was lying atop of Ike and their mouths were pushed together awkwardly. But it certainly wasn't magical or anything. Kinda wet and clumsy, like their mouths didn't fit together or something. But strangely as he pulled away from his friend and both of their faces turned varied shades of red he found that maybe he had gained enlightenment. He learned that first kisses weren't all that special, and that made him wiser than the majority of the girls of the world
First kisses weren't anything special. Just strangely comfortable. He looked down at Ike as a grin grew stupidly across his face.
But what about second kisses?
