"Were you jealous?"
"Wh-what? No!" Riza Hawkeye choked, swiveling her head so Roy didn't see her blush. "Why would you think that?"
"Well…when Lust admitted that being killed by me wasn't that bad," Lt. Colonel Mustang whispered huskily, snaking his hand on Riza's shoulder, causing her to make her cheeks to color even more.
"That is…not true, I'm sorry." Riza shrugged away, sliding unwillingly out of Roy's gentle hold.
"Are you sure?"
"Um…"
"Just to make sure you aren't," The Colonel swooped closer to Riza until he was eye level with her and placed a tender, yet firm kiss on her lips.
"You're the only one who I will ever love back." He whispered, tucking in a loose strand of her hair.
