So I've only seen... two episodes. Like forever ago (okay like a month) when I was super sick and stayed home from school... so if I don't have the characters just right, I'm sorry. And incase you can't figure it out... the characters are Sonny, Tawni and Chad. (Because I kind of love the idea of them in a love triangle!)
You're selfish.
Preposterously selfish. They both know it. They're both well aware. And honestly, you think it's why they're both so addicted to you.
She gets it. You're both so alike that it's a little uncanny. She understands that the selfishness runs through your veins and she knows what it's like to need to break somebody's heart to make sure you're still alive. She knows what it's like to need fame like you need air. She knows what it's like to need to be beautiful because it's the only thing that's really truly and utterly yours. She gets it. She'll crawl, claw, and degrade herself to climb the slippery slope to the top because in the end it's the only thing that matters.
She's hot pink glitter and Juicy Couture perfume and tears with glitter and mascara. She's you, only a girl.
She doesn't get it at all. You're both so different but it's like magnets, opposites attract. She doesn't understand selfishness because she doesn't have any. She wants to make people laugh. She wants to make people feel good. She wants to show you sunshine and rainbows and giggling just because. She sees everything that could be under all the layers of your broken soul and abrasive pride. She holds your hand through the dark because she can see the light at the end of the tunnel and like all of the nicest girls in world, all she wants is for you to experience the light, to feel it and breath it.
She's bright yellow nails and Vanilla chapstick, and smiles with fluffy white clouds shaped like animals. She's nothing like you.
And you need them both.
Because she understands. Because you don't have to hide or pretend, and you can break her and she'll be able to take it. Because she'll never let you know you're killing her because hey, that'd be a weakness and neither of you play that particular game. So you tell the lies you know she's only pretending to believe and you both break each other continuously because it lets you both know that you can still feel, you're still real.
Because she believes in you. Because she thinks that you're better than it all and that someday you'll be more than you already are. Because she thinks you can change for the better because she thinks that you're a good guy underneath it all. So you tell the lies you know she'll believe and you play up to her pretty delusions so nicely because it lets you both have your fantasies, she thinks she can make a difference and you can pretend that someday you'll be able to change.
So you'll break their hearts over and over again.
Because you need them both.
( and in the end it all really comes down to what you need, doesn't it? )
